Every game in this league matters, from the opening kickoff of the season to the final regular season game. Playoffs, Gunner Cup Series, and with the Pro Bowl 2011 format all owners have a vested interest all the way through NFL week 17. Each owner in this league most likely has put in extensive time scouting, analyzing, and researching the best players, the deepest sleepers, and the highest ranked players per position from every website, magazine, and television program known to man.....
As eSFL correspondent, I'd like to ask every owner in the league to participate as much as possible with stories, predictions, or whatever else you would like to add to the eSFL insider, eSFL blog, and the eSFL radio show this season. These avenues add excitement to the league and doubt you will find another fantasy football league with as many avenues of involvement as the eSFL offers each of it's owners.

NON-DIVISION GAME
Pardue Bruisermakers vs Viall Vigilantes
The Bruisermakers, last year's runner up, come in with another solid team this season with stud RB Jamaal Charles leading the way. Look for Charles to be an animal on the ground all season for this squad. Romo leads the passing game with Miles Austin and Brandon Marshall at WR. Viall brings in a tough team with potentially the best running game in the league. Chris Johnson got his contract, and Steven Jackson will produce solid numbers each week. Big Ben at the helm and WR's Collie, Boldin, and Mike Williams should score enough to get the upset in Week one.
Viall 145 Pardue 132
Kav's Kavanators vs Fields Fanatix
Coach Kav takes on his nemesis on opening weekend. Fields Fanatix, with legendary coach and hall of fame nominee B.G Fields, had a rough draft in the eyes of the experts but Coach Fields believes his squad will come together and ride into a playoff spot. He will take the field with Tom Brady leading the way. Wayne, Manningham, and Shipley have their work cut out if they plan to take this team to the playoffs. Potentially the weakest running game in the league, Fields loaded up a few backups and is looking for a starter to drop out with an injury in order to move his guys up to the starting roles. Kav comes into the game with the better team overall with Rashard Mendenhall and Hakeem Nicks leading the way. Wes Welker is a counter move by Kav to try and offset some the points that Brady will get. This game will come down to the defense and fortunate for Kav, he has the better talent at LB. Kav wins a close game and gets his first ever eSFL win over the Fanatix.

This should be a nice opening game in the Global Division with both of these squads having won a title in year's past and an all time record of 7-4, favor of Frost. The Ruskies have laid claim to the best team in the league this year and also decided to predict an undefeated season. Lead by star QB Drew Brees, one of the highest scoring QB's each and every week, the rest of the squad looks mediocre. Wells and Bush will be productive for a few weeks, but eventually both will be injured or out of the starting gig. Vincent Jackson is the only WR worth talking about. Rivers will eventually look his way when teams start doubling up on Gates. Frost has yet to announce his staring lineup, but we can guess on a few obvious choices. Michael Turner and Peyton Hillis will line up at RB on opening day, along with Andre Johnson and Ochocinco. Frost should insert Sam Bradford in at QB but he won't be able to keep up with Brees. Frost has Zima outnumbered everywhere else beyond the QB spot and it should be enough for a victory.
Frost 146 Zima 123
Igama drafted nicely and put together a solid core. Arian Foster and Felix Jones will lead the running game, with Dwayne Bowe, Santonio Holmes and Roy Williams at WR. Matt Ryan at QB and Marcedes Lewis at TE. He will contend in the tough Appalachian Division and should march right into a playoff spot. Opening the division against the Perdew Pulverizers, lead by the Eagles combo of Mike Vick and LeSean McCoy. Perdew is weak at WR but has high hopes for Stevie Johnson and Mike Thomas. If they produce, this game will be close. If not, look for the Sweaty Palms to open up with the division lead.
Igama 165 Perdew 154
The Texas Boys, have a solid coach and a good record in the eSFL and enters the game in sixth place in all time coach wins with 46. They bring in another decent squad that could compete in the Global Division for a playoff spot. Overall #1 Adrian Peterson is an animal and Shonn Greene should be a nice compliment. The WR trio of Jennings, Harvin, and Wallace will be tough to stop. Stafford is the X Factor for this team. He opens up week one with the D Crownholders. The top QB in the game in Aaron Rodgers and the top TE in Jason Witten. Will it be enough to take down the Boys from Texas....I doubt it!
Temp 155 D Crown 122
Coach T.L Rhodes, the winningest coach in eSFL history, makes his transition from Boot Hill back to the Runners and what better way to gain confidence than to whoop up on the weakest link. McKinney drafted a decent lineup but failed to start training camp. With Manning struggling with a neck injury, Colt McCoy will attempt to lead this team for at least one week. Mathews could be in line for a breakout year and Roddy White and Gates are solid. He has the best LB group in the league, but it won't be enough. Too much Gore, Megatron, Vernon Davis, and Josh Freeman for the Runners. Oh yea, don't forget Jared Allen.
Runners 158 McKinney 119
GAME OF THE WEEK
Defending Champion Whitmore takes on defending Appalachian Regular Season Champs Texan Bruisers in a highly anticipated, high energy, high octane matchup (take note, words like these are why I am the official eSFL corrospondent). These teams look very similar and the scoreboard will look the same. Rivers vs Schaub, Jones-Drew vs Ray Rice....The difference will be a few points by the WR's of the Bruisers. Fitzgerald, Bryant, and Britt will outperform Rice, Moss, and Driver. Close game but the Defending champs fall start the season on the wrong foot.
Bruisers 152 Whitmore 150
Good Luck to all of the teams this season.
Ballistic Bowl XII is every coaches dream, but there is only one eSFL Championship ring. Who has what it takes to get the job done?
