Record Setting Accomplishment in the eSFL

Record Setting Accomplishment in the eSFL

Coach Rhodes was a fan favorite in Boot Hill after a
2008 Ballistic Bowl win!

As week one in the eSFL came to a close, we witnessed something that has never been accomplished in the league; T. Rhodes amassed an amazing 100 career victories. This heralded achievement is something every coach dreams of and coach Rhodes is deserving of the accolades forthcoming. During a recent interview, coach Rhodes stated “This has been a goal I have had my sights on for the past 4 years. We started this league 15 years ago and this achievement seems fitting, fitting for my hard work over the years, and fitting for a few gentlemen who was there with me in the first week of the league.” Rhodes went on to say, “I have had my ups and downs. You have to maintain a calm, submissive state of mind or you will drive yourself insane. I didn’t let the highs get me too high and I didn’t let the lows get me too low, however, I have broken my fair share of remote controls and damn near choked to death on a plug Levi Garrett.”
Bruce Fields, a long-time friend of coach Rhodes stated; “I give him props. He has accomplished something that no other coach in eSFL history has accomplished. Year in and year out, Rhodes continues to put together a team that is competitive. He has set the bar high and this is something that I now have my sights set on.”
Some analysts have been on record trying to downplay the significance of this achievement. Oxmoor Studabacker from Fax Sports stated, “Hell, after 15 years he should have eclipsed 130 wins. Furthermore, he has a despicable .510 winning percentage. This accomplishment does not impress me at all.” When asked to comment on Oxmoor’s statement, Rhodes said “The haters are going to hate. You can’t please everyone. Some of the finest in history have similar numbers, Bum PhillipsMarvin LewisDick VermeilJack PardeeJeff FisherJon Gruden, and they are considered fine coaches. I will add this trophy to my collection and move on toward 200. I’m would send Oxmoor some Levi Garret to get that sour taste out of his mouth, but he is not deserving, I will pack him up a box of sweetless Mail Pouch.”
Given this recent achievement, Rhodes undoubtedly will be a first ballot hall of famer. This could be the catalyst that fuels the Runners to another National Championship.
Congratulations coach Rhodes and we look forward to future successes from this storied franchise.
After 3 years in Boot Hill, Rhodes returned to
the Runners to try and return the organization
to it's glory years
