Adrian Peterson has been placed on the eSFL commissioner exempt list and cannot be placed in a starting lineup by any team except the one that drafted them. This is in case the drafting owners drop them for roster space and prevent them losing the rights to them. Peterson's position will be changed from RB to CL on the official site, therefore if someone else acquires them they will not be able to place them in a starting lineup.
The reason for this is because this was two teams 1st round picks. They will have the rights to the player unless they freely release them into free agency when the player has a position of RB and not CL.
If the player returns to play in the NFL this season the eSFL will review the player position and change it back to RB if they see fit.
Josh Gordon, Ray Rice and other players with similar NFL suspensions or NFL exempt issues are not effected because neither was a first round pick in the eSFL draft.
Anyone who picks AP up if he is placed on the free agency market does so understanding his position is not a RB and cannot be used in an eSFL lineup until that has been changed. Any player(s) they released to acquire him was at their own peril. Compensation will not be afforded.
