eSFL Postgame-Week 2-2014

The Perdew Pulverizers took a heartbreaking loss in a very important division game. The game may end up being the difference between making the playoffs or not and coach Perdew was very disgusted with his top draft choice's performance Sunday evening. Matt Forte need around 11 points to secure victory for the Pulverizers but was only able to get 9.8. Forte dropped at least four passes that would have led his team to victory and coach Perdew let it be known that his performance will not be tolerated in the future. "In this league, with current roster and scoring rules, no one deserves to win with less than 170. Maybe I will wake up tomorrow and we will have somehow be given 20 extra points, otherwise the weekend was not a good one, win or lose",  he stated as he walked walked towards the refrigerator.
On the other hand, the Texan bruisers were coming off a week one loss in which they would have beaten all but three teams in the league. Coach Chaz was asked how it felt to win a close one like this, he said, "in this league we take every win we get, we earn them, we don't apologize to anyone regardless how many points we scored or how many we won by, we get a 1 in the W row, that's it".
The win by the Bruisers makes the Vintage Virginia conference a three way tie with teams all at 1-1. "Basically we just took weeks one and two and threw them out, everyone starts over in this division", Chaz commented.

The Dlugiewicz unit keeps on winning despite no one in the league ever mentioning them. Likely the most under rated franchise in the eSFL the past two seasons, the Pollocks took the Money Team to school in quarterback play and steady across the board skilled position performance. The Pollocks move to their second straight 2-0 start while the Money Team fall to 1-1 in the Nebula Quasar division. "The loss was a big one, these division games are huge this year, we need to regroup, refocus, we cannot change what is already over", coach R.J. stated. When asked how he felt about his teams past and future performance coach Mike said, "we are a force to be reckoned with, we will have our ups and downs, but with Peyton calling the audibles and throwing the ball we will likely be a threat each week".

Everyone likes making fun of the Crownholder, until the day after they have played them. The Aliens with a crown put up 186 in a loss in week one, followed up week two with a solid 192 and a win. At 1-1 the team now expects more respect from owners across the league. "I only watched about 20 minutes of football this weekend, I was pleased when I saw Brandon M and Jay C. scoring some touchdowns, I think that is good isn't it?", he stated when approached by a fan with a phone asking questions in Minot this morning.
The Frost team lost for the first time this season and coach Jeff said, "when week 12 rolls around I think everyone will be 7-5, so we are on our way".

Temp's Texas Boy's (1-1) rebounded from a week one loss in a huge win against division fow Fields Fanatix (0-2). Temp had a complete team performance while the Fanatix struggled with quarterback play.
"At 0-2 we are a little concerned, but not overly at this point. Lot of football still to be played", coach Fields said.

After a 12 TD performance in week one thr Runners return to reality with the lowest output of the week. The Ruskies earn top 50 award for the week in a blowout. "I don't like it", coach Rhodes said when asked how it feels to play so poorly.

A game noone deserves to get a W in the MF team won their first eSFL game. Congrats to coach Nachman.

The Stars won a game that no one gave them a chance as the Coalition looked normal without WR A. J. Green and Tom Brady and crew posting less then stellar numbers. The both teams move to 1-1 with some work to do to get things straightened out.

The war turned out to be a dud. You boys need to do less talking and more coaching.
