The Dlugiewicz Fighting Pollocks (3-0) remain undefeated with a win over the underachieving Coalition (1-2) team. The Pollocks are out to prove all the haters wrong and got the win despite their less than usual play from the quarterback position. "Most people think we are a one trick pony, but we feel like we have a solid group of names on our team, we can win even when Peyton doesn't put up 60", coach Mike said after the game.
The Coalition entered the season as the hands down favorite to win the division. After a solid week 1 performance they have went south. There are rumors across the league that coach Ron Pardues's job may be in jeopardy if the team doesn't start to turn things around.

IGAMA GETS FIRST 2014 WIN
The Igama Sweaty Palms broke the 150 mark for the first time this season with a powerful 187 and move from the winless. The win puts the team in a three way tie for the Orion division league where all three teams have only one win. The Stars couldn't match last weeks performance where they upset the favored Coalition unit.176.24 | TOTAL | 203.82 |

RAMS POUND CROWNHOLDERS
The Houston Rams (2-1) rebounded from a tough week two loss with a solid performance against the D Crownholder (1-2) and are in a tie with the Billiecats (2-1) for the Helix division lead. "Nothing remarkeable, just everyone on our team played their role, we, win, we look toward week 4", coach Templin said. The Crownholder fall to 1-2 despite having the second most points fielded on the season in the Vintage conference.
FROST FREEZES 'NATORS WITH LATE PEYTON
|
Note: ++++ These recaps were written before Monday Night Football.
++++The Frost Furrious Flurries (2-1) made a bold trade a couple of days prior to week 3 kickoff, sending star wideout Antonio Brown to the Runners in exchange for running back Terrence West and wide receiver Alshon Jeffery. The move paid off as West bolstered the ground attack with a touchdown and 14.3 points. Five touchdowns compared to three for the 'nators was the difference, sending the Kav's Kavanators to a dissapointing 1-2 start in the Vintage Conference's Appalachian division. The win puts the Frost unit in either sole possession of first or a tie with the Crownholder, depending on the outcome of the Crownholders contest which is yet to be decided as of press time.

++++The Rhodes Runners (2-1) watch newly acquired wide receivers Antonio Brown and Sanders light up the scoreboard while quarterback Andrew Luck continued his outstanding play. A huge Vintage Conference Virginia division matchup, the Perdew Pulverizers (1-2) continue to to search for answers to a team that has only seven touchdowns after three weeks. "We need to make some moves, we need to look at options, at this point we look like the worst team in this division with no chance at blackjack", coach Perdew stated after the game.
"If we have any ideas of a division title our defense needs to start playing, I'm dissapointed in our coordinator at this point and may make some type of change", coach Rhodes said.
TEMP SHOCKED BY UNIQUE WARD SAFETY

++++In a game filled with controversy, the Zima Ruskies (3-0) pulled off a last second win with a safety by TJ Ward. The league scoring rules had to be discussed for nearly 8 hours to decide how is a shared safety scored. The ruling by the commissioner was that if more than one player is awarded a safety, all players involved receive credit for a full safety. "The NFL does not award half safety as they do for sacks and tackles, if two players share a safety they both get credit for a full safety", commissioner Rhodes ruled on Monday morning.
"We hated to see our star running back Danny Woodhead go down with a serious injury, the best three wide receivers in the league, Harvin, Nelson, and Cooks didn't play well, but we won. Don't expect our stars to under perform again, and we will fill Danny's role with superstar Ahmad Bradshaw, won't miss a beat, we are on our way to a title for sure", coach Zima bloated after the win.
The Temp Texas Boy's (1-2) are sure to remember this game for many years. "Well they gave Ward a safety...FML", coach Templin mumbled after the ruling was issued. "we are kimchi, our team is kimchi, and if you don't know what kimchi is, then you are kimchi" he added.
The outcome puts team Zima in the Virginia Conference Global division drivers seat.

++++In an ugly contest the defending champion Psycho Billiecats move to a 2-1 record and share of first place in the Nebula Helix division. "we still have a lot of points left, Monday Night should get us another 50, nice week", coach Klim said. The Vigilante (1-2) continue to step on their peckers, something they have done very well for the past three years, "Eddie lacy you make me want to barf", is all coach Viall would say after his team posted a flaccid 107 through Sunday's games.

++++Don't confuse winning with good. The Nachman (2-1) team look more and more like a winner as each week passes. The Money Team (1-2) look more like last years unit as each week passes. Money brought their second straight week of lackluster play while MF demonstrated how solid team contributions add up to respectful scores each week. "we are in the hunt fellas, in the hunt", coach Nachman yelled as he ran from the sideline pumping his fist in the air.
