eSFL Insider-Vintage-Week 3-2014
Vintage Insider-Week 3 2014
By Kav
Sideline coach Kav mic'd up from week 2
Now to the games!
In a battle of 1-1 teams Kav meets Frost in what should be a high scoring shootout between the two teams. Both sets of QB's and WR's should put up huge and matching numbers, while the big advantage for the Frost is in his newly acquired running backs. West and Murray should put up numbers in the teens while Gore and Spiller should only have pedestrian type numbers seeing they are facing two good run defenses. ertz has the advantage at TE, with the Defenders being even. Will the advantage at TE be enough for Kav to pull out the victory, I don't think so. Frost goes to 2-1 dropping Kav to 2-1 with a 176- 165 win.
In a 1-1 vs 2-0 match up, Zima being the surprise 2-0 team with a win over The Runners, who had the "Fucked up Draft" as graded by Josh , goes against Temp who played without his number one QB last week in Russell Wilson and still won. This looks like it could be a breakout week for Temp, who is due to get his Back up QB (Breese) back at home against a very weak defense. Additionally, in what should be a shootout on sunday, D. Thomas and Julian Edleman should put up huge numbers against each of their opposing defense. Harvin for Zima, who wilted under the pressure at home against SD, will probably due the same on Sunday against Denver and a banged up Bush, if he plays, has to face a tough Green Bay run defense. Cooks fly's across the country to face an embarrassed Minnesota D & will get shut down along with Jimmy Graham. In what will be a Romp, Temp evens both his and Zimas record at 2-1 with a 167-137 win.

In a battle of two teams lucky to be 1-1, Runners goes up against the defending Vintage Conference champ, who happened to have the right match up week one and scam by with a lightweight 166 points. Rhodes does have the better match-ups between the two teams as Luck looks to redeem himself against a pathetic Jax defense on the road, while the Pulverizers Stafford has to play Green Bay and face a mediocre defense. Look for Perdews WR grouping, Forte and Foster to also have big days with the Runners RBs struggling to find any type of running room against Carolina and Seattle, a defense looking to get even this week after being embarrassed at home the week before. Rhodes will not score high enough this week to overcome Perdew who will make up for last weeks output with a 181-141 win to also start 2-1.
In a battle of two of the weaker teams in ESFL this will be another close match up as the Bruisers and his group of strong WRs face the Fanatix and his group of strong RB's. In what will probably be a substantial lead for the Bruiser going into Monday nights game an offensive Monday night offensive fury will slowly fade away into a loss. The big advantage the Fanatix has this week is in the TE position, where Bennette (Yes Bennette not Gronk WK3) will easily outscore Olsen , who has to play Pittsburgh and that strong LB core. Look for the Defense players and kickers to play even, Bruisers WR to heavily outscore the Fanatix and visa versa for the RB's and BENNETTE to pull the Fanatix on top with a Fantastic Monday night blitz and a 148-140 win, leaving the Bruisers at 1-2 and Fanatix at 1-2 going into week 4
Who Cares! its an out of Conference game and has little meaning. If your gonna lose, lose these ones. they don't hurt that much because no one in your conference collects a win off your loss!!! Houston Rams 152 - D 149
