Zima trades 2012 2nd Rd draft pick

Follow this trade and more on:

The Viall Vigilante traded Pro Bowl running back Chris Johnson and wide receiver Jordy Nelson to the to the Zima Ruskies on Saturday.
The Ruskies gave up a second-round pick in the 2012 eSFL draft, wideout Brandon LaFell, and Running back Dexter McCluster.
In an interview with eSFL's "Insider" on Saturday evening, coach Zima said he was "extremely happy" with the trade. Zima said a "jolt of confidence" could be all that it takes to turn their struggling team around.
Although the Vigilante, winless on the season, have struggled offensively, the trade was more a look at the future rather than improving that area in 2011. Viall is on an eight game losing streak and have lost 14 of 15 over the past two seasons.

Information from eSFL Radio senior eSFL analyst Terry Rhodes, Vigilante Daily Joel Viall and The Ruskie Press was used in this report.
