Week 7 eSFL Insider-2011-UPDATED

Here we go, week 7 and game 8. This week will be make or break for a few ESFL teams. And we have several teams wearing alternate uniforms and helmets, some never seen before. The teams wearing their special get ups are represented by a helmet rather than their mark.
In the Appalachian division the Fanatix and the Sweaty Palms need wins this week to stay in contention for a play off birth.
The Ruskies desperatly need a win to have a chance in the ultra competative and high scoring Global division.
The Flurries and Vigilantes are pretty much out of the race but could play spoiler to anyone on the bubble for a playoff spot.
Also this week the Kavanators traded away Flacco, Gonzales, and Massaquoi to the the Flurries. In return the Kavanators got Beck, Johnson, and Winslow. This should improve the Kavanators WR core but to get rid of the reigning ESFL champion QB is questionable. If the Kavanators can't pick up a QB he will be going down in flames the last half of this season and will miss the playoffs.
And now to games....
Workhorse vs Sweaty Palms
Whos out?
Workhorse- George-DB
Sweaty Palms- Hernandez-TE
With the Sweaty Palms missing his big TE it will be hard to put up decent numbers this week. He will need Foster and Bowe to produce this week. The Workhorses hope to rebound after a pathetic week with QB McNabb getting benched and losing a shit game. With Rivers and Rice back in the line up this one will be an easy win.
Workhorse-149 Palms-121
Temps Texas Boys vs Rhodes Runners
Whos out?
Temps Texas Boys- Half his defense
Rhodes Runners- Fitzpatrick-QB Gore-RB Davis-TE
This will probably be the closest game this week. Even though the Runners have all that talent out this week there replacements are equal or better. With Davis on the bench Pettigrew will be the Rhodes starting TE and Freeman will be taking the snaps. The Runners will be hurting this week at running back but everyone else on this team will produce. Like always the Runners will put up 40+ on defense and have a solid week. Temp will rely heavily on his running game with Peterson and Greene. Temps WR's are beat up but Jennings will come in a put up 25 this week. Temp takes the win cause the Runners have no one to run.

D Crownholder vs Zima Ruskies
Whos out?
D Crownholder- D. Jackson-WR
Zima Ruskies-Cruz-WR Crabtree-WR
The Ruskies need this one to stay in the playoff hunt but it'll be tough with his receiving core on a buy this week. Brees will put up 30 but where will the rest come from? Finley? Colston? One week they put up 30 the next 3, the Ruskies are one the most dangerous teams if all his players are on the same page, if not it will be a blowout! For the Crownholders you will have domination with Rogers, McFadden, and Witten putting up some bombs this week. The Crownholders are riding high on top of the Global and will stay there for at least another week. This one will be a beat down.
Crownholders- 176 Ruskies- 127
Pardue Bruisermakers vs Frosts less than Furrious Flurries
Whos out?
Bruisermakers- Jacobs-RB Benson-RB D. Nelson-WR
Frosts- Lindell-PK
If the Flurries ever had a chance to win it would be this week with the Bruisermakers sitting 3 starters for the buy week. The Flurries better pick up a kicker this week with Lindell sitting this week and no other PK's on his roster. Frosts made the big move this week in the trade with the Kavanators but it won't save the Flurries slim to none playoff odds. The Bruisermakers combo of Best and Hardesty will dominate with Hillis permanently playing second fiddle. Bruisermakers will keep the Flurries at the bottom of the Global division for the foreseeable future.
Bruisermakers- 163 Frosts- 136
Texan Bruisers vs McKinney Rednecks
Whos out?
Texan Bruisers- GreenEllis-RB Branch-WR Ballard-TE
Rednecks-Edward-WR Maclin-WR
With Colt McCoy playing solid and the chance of Gates coming back this week the Rednecks are contenders. The Rednecks barely broke the 100 mark last week but don't expect it again. He will depend on his defense which rarely lets him down and if Rivers favorite target is back this week the Rednecks will be a force to recken with. The Bruisers QB Schaub will make up for last weeks sub par performance and get him 30. Rice and Fitz will also break the 20 mark but low and behold it will not be enough. The Rednecks will not lose this week and will be in playoff spot in his division for the rest of the season. Look for the Rednecks to push deep in the playoffs this season.
Bruiser- 137 Rednecks- 166
Perdew Pulverizers vs Fields Fanatix
Whos out?
Pulverizers- Vick-QB Jackson-RB McCoy-RB S. Johnson-WR Ross-DB
Fanatix- Brady-QB Bradshaw-RB Manningham-WR Nugent-PK
WOW! Both teams have lost the majority of all starters who matter. This will show who has the depth at pretty much every skill position. The pulverizers have been blessed with the best backfield in the ESFL. Forte will do what Forte always does and score a crap load of points, probably another 30 this week. Cassell will have to step up if the Pulverizers have a chance this week. Sanchez will start at QB for the Fanatix and has been solid all season putting up over 20 points 5 out of the 6 weeks this season. He will need to pick up a PK before the games start with Nugent on a buy. Fred Davis will catch 8 balls for 79 yards and score and help lead the Fanatix to a VICTORY over the loathed Pulverizers. Shame too, such sweet uniforms the Pulverizers wore and got that ass spanked! The Fanatix applied for a helmet waiver this week stating they have done extensive research and not once identified an instance where any player in the eSFL took a hit that a helmet would have prevented injury. They requested their team wear paper bags instead. The league office denied the request for further research.
Pulverizers- 139 Fanatix-154
Viall Vigilante vs Kavs Kavanators
Whos out?
Viall- ???
Kavanators- Welker-WR Nicks-WR Gronkowski
A trade happened that left the Kavanators with absolute shit at QB. Hmmm.. who do I start this week Moore? Jackson? BECK? No not any of them, they are all bumbs. Coach Ron of the Kavanators better get out there and find himself a QB or he possibly could miss the playoffs. On the other hand the Flurries have no one on a buy this week and will get solid contributions from Roethlisberger, Johnson, Jackson, Boldin, and Collie. Congratulations Viall your loosing streak is over.
Viall- 155 Kavanators- 109
This week will decide the winners from the losers, contenders from pretenders. Will this year have another Cinderella like the Workhorses or will the Pulverizers and Crownholders run through the competition for an epic Ballistic Bowl battle.
