The Texan Bruisers look to enhance their playoff hopes with a win this week against another division foe, the Perdew Pulverizers, a team who has yet to see defeat this year. At 5-0 and the only undefeated team remaining in the eSFL, the Pulverizers will be led by quarterback Mike Vick, running back LeSean McCoy, and a host of wide receivers. The team averages a remarkeable 144 offensive points a game, the highest in the league. On the other hand, the Bruisers will not be intimidated and are expected to compete this week. His best player this week likely will be receiver Larry Fitzgerald, who is expected to post a near 35 points. Unfortunately, Hines Ward, Deion Branch, Todd Heap, and Ben-Jarvis Green-Ellis are all superior in the BUM category. If Ryan Grant, Matt Schaub, and his cast of defensive characters doesn't put up at least 130, then defeat will be for sure. I just can't imigane Perdew losing this week, not to this team. So forget the fact 10 of the 14 games last week were won by the home team and the spread of 17 that Vegas odd makers have, Bruisers can't cover this.

This is a huge Global division matchup in which both teams probably need to win. I know, this time of the season is way to early to call a game a must win, but this one is very important for both teams. The winner will move to 4-2 and also hold a head to head tiebreaker boost in the division. Really though, both these teams are playoff quality and will likely be there. The Bruisermakers try and rebound from a very tough double header week in which they lost both games and fell not only from the unbeaten ranks, but from the top of the division as well. Pardue's team has been fighting the injury bug almost all season, losing his best running back (Charles) for the season, and other game losses to include wide out Miles Austin. The loss of Charles was a serious blow, sorry to see that happen Ron, really I am. This team is likely the most potent one in the Global division and despite the two losses last week he is expected to finish the season near or at the top of it. This week the only offensive player in his lineup that I like is Jahvid Best. The rest of those guys are second rate and honestly it surprises me to even see them on his roster, much less starting.
The Temp's Texas Boy's split their two games last week despite a weak performance of only 129 points. This is a much better team than they displayed in the annual week four double headers, possibly overlooking his opponents for this contest. The Texas Boy's have several players who catch my eye this week. Running Back Adrian Petersen has a nice opportunity to be the best running back of the week, and Stafford, Jennings, and Harvin also are appealing. The Texas Boy's can win this contest if they get what is expected from their running game.

An Appalachian Division matchup of past domination. The Kavanators have not been able to take down the Workhorse in five regular season meetings. However, they did defeat them in last seasons Pro Bowl, likely a game coach Whitmore knows nothing about as he was counting his winnings from the previous week's Ballistic Bowl.
Defensively the teams are similar and likely will not be the difference in this contest. The winner of this one will be determined by the receivers. A group in which the Workhorse recently improved by acquiring Eric Decker from the Runners in exchange for his backup running back L. Blount. Phillip Rivers, Greg Olsen, and S. Rice are good enough to put this team in the winners column. Add in running back D. Sproles, no way no how this team scores less than 175 this week.
On the other hand, the Kavanators have been flying high this season, winning four of five and sitting in second place behind the Pulverizers. The 'nators have accomplished the feat with solid receiving and pass/rec touchdowns (19). As long as coach Kav keeps his blow hole closed and doesn't get caught colluding or cheating, he may make his first Ballistic Bowl appearance this season. I like what I see here, solid across the board, but even the best of teams lose a game or two on occassion.

The Rhodes Runners held on for another victory last week and split his two contests for a respectful 3-2 mark. Of his three wins none have been easy, and honestly, should or could have all been losses. The front office decided it was time to make a move and shipped surprise wide receiver Eric Decker to the Workhorse for running back L. Blount. It looks very much like the same team the Runners used last season that won only five games. However, this years squad appears to have vastly improved in the defensive area of play, the second best unit in the eSFL. Calvin Johnson is likely the best receiver in the league thus far, averaging two touchdowns a week. If this team gets decent production from it's number two and three wideouts, and respectable points from the ground players, it could be a playoff contender. Of course, every team in the league falls into the same category, and I don't expect Mr. Johnson to continue his super performance week in and week out here.
The Frost Furrious Flurries have started off slow, both on draft day, training camps, and free agent signings. It appears as coach Frost has his mind on more serious matters up to this point in the season, although regardless how I try, I can't imigane what could be more important than the eSFL. The Flurries did get their first win of the season and hopeful that has energized the unit a bit. To win this week this team needs a solid 50 from their defense and the continued exceptional play of wide out Steve Smith. The bad news is his best player, Andre Johnson is out for several weeks with surgery on his hammy. Another tough luck lost that honestly I hate to see, honestly, I do, honestly Jeff.

Although both of these teams are 1-4, Zima has the better squad. Fields, which had a horrendous draft, has been kicked around, beat to shit, and left for dead. His squad has the top quarterback in the league with Tom Brady, one average running back and wide out. They have been bit by the Manning bug since day one and has struggled to overcome. The real question for Fields is when will he have to bail on the plan of a few studs getting injured and his lonely number twos step into a bigger role or ditch Tom Brady for two decent players? The clock is ticking for these types of moves to happen, and at 1-4, this could be the make or break in whatever the plan may be. The Ruskies bring in Drew Brees, who could easily push Brady, Beanie Wells who should be good for 20 and cover both of Fields running backs, and a few injury plagued wide outs to counter Fields' garbage. This one will come down to the wire, but Zima moves on with a solid performance that Fields never seen coming, as newly acquired wide out Victor Cruz drops 34 and beats that ass.

I have preached from the beginning that the Rednecks failure to start training camp on time, along with the high draft picks of defensive players would eventually hurt Coach McKinney. Have a dose of the bye week blues Coach! Quarterback Colt McCoy will hand the reins over to Tavaris Jackson and this could get ugly. Jackson will post negative points, and McKinney will need 90 out of his defense this week. Don't count on that shit to happen. D Crownholders, the highest scoring team in the league are gonna lay the smack on the rednecks. MVP candidate Aaron Rodgers is on fire of late, along with McFadden, and Steve Smith of Carolina. D's offense is averaging over 20 plus points more per contest and it will be too much for the Jackson led squad to overcome.

Vial versus Igama this week features the bottom feeders of the Appalachian Division. These two teams are pathetic. Igama has the better lineup and the better team here, but the real matchup in this mess is CJ2K vs Arian Foster. If Johnson can keep up, this game could be fairly close. But wait....we have a Dwayne Bowe sighting! Bowe should have a monster game and drop 28 for Igama and lead him to victory. Vial must be a genius with this next move. He is starting QB Rex Grossman on a bye this week. But rather than start Ben Rapesherburger and take a negative, Vial must be looking to just take the goose egg and hope stud running back CJ2K and overachiever wide outs can get it done. CJ is coming around slowly, and should be good for 25 against a slowly falling Pitt D. Jordy Nelson will contribute 18 of his own and Mike Williams will finally break the 20 point mark with two TD's this week but it wont be enough.
