Important trade info-2011

The commissioner approved a trade between the Kavanators and Vigilante yesterday. The trade was approved based on the trade info I had received from the owners as they had submitted it. Nowhere in that info did the trade indicate that future draft picks were involved. If it had, I would have notified each owner before approving the trade that their league entry fees for next season must be paid before the trade would be approved. Therefore, the owners involved in the trade have until Sat, 15 Oct 2011, at 5 pm et to pay their 2012 league entry fees. If the entry fees are not received by that that time the trade will be ruled invalid and all players involved will be returned to their original teams. I suggest each owner prepare their rosters for such and any and all transaction made due to the trade will be the owners responsibility. If requested, I will create a leaguesafe site for easy payment.

The trading of future draft picks for 2011 will remain but will be reviewed for the 2012 season.
It is easy to see why this rule must be in place to prevent teams from receiving future draft picks and then not participating the year the picks were traded.
