Perfect ending to a near perfect season-2011

The 2011 season ended last night and as commissioner of the league I couldn't be more pleased with this seasons outcome. The past few seasons it has been debated whether the best teams in the league won the Ballistic Bowl and who was in the playoffs. This season ended with a perfect standings and in my opinion the best teams are exactly where they should be. If we look at this years POWER RANK we see that the top eight teams have seven playoff qualifiers with number nine gaining a spot. I doubt there are any fans or owners who could provide much of a debate about the playoff teams this season in any division. The Global division turned out to be the mother of all playoff dogfights with four teams finishing in a second place tie at 8-6. The Temp Texas Boy's won their first ever division title with an 11-3 record and will now have the right to select their first round opponent. Crownholder, Pardue, and Zima all qualified for the playoffs at 8-6, the Rhodes Runners did not qualify at 8-6 based on a tiebreaker between he and D that came down to division record. If anyone would argue this isn't the best four teams in the division I would believe they are not basing their opinion on solid analysis tools.
In the Appalachian the playoff teams have been pretty much set for the past few weeks. The Igama team qualified for the final wild card spot with a 7-7 record and eliminated the implication of the new BLACKJACK rule, in which they would have qualified as well. The Perdew Pulverizers won their first division crown with an 11-3 record after a solid 9-1 start. Injuries have hampered the team the past four weeks in which they went 2-2.
Congratulations to all playoff teams and thanks for a great season. All owners performed as professionals this season and the eSFL standard of sportsmanship and fair play was upheld. We did have one team who had trouble setting their lineup and managing their team for most of the season but once again the league presidents and owners stood up and assisted the commissioner in handling the situation. With that said, the McKinney rednecks will be controlled in the Gunner Cup this season by a selected owner. The owner will be selected each week by the commissioner based on the schedule with the division presidents taking priority in the process. Once the Gunner Cup schedule is known the commissioner will identify the controlling owner of McKinney's team and provide them with the password to access the team. The controlling owner MAY NOT drop any players from the roster unless they are on NFL IR, but may sign free agents from the free agent pool as long as the roster does not exceed the current 27 man limit. If the Redneck team wins the Gunner Cup the award of 110.00 dollars will be placed in the league fund and owners will be polled on what it should go towards.
Once again, thanks for a great season and lets keep it up for the playoffs and Gunner Cup!
