The Global division championship will be decided on Monday evening by one player, Lamaar Woodley. Entering the contest the Zima Ruskies are trailing by less than four points
and look to be on their way to the organizations second Ballistic Bowl.
As Saturday evenings NFL game approached kickoff the big talk on local and national radio shows was the decision of coach Pardue to sit quarterback Tony Romo in favor of Tim Tebow. As it turned out it cost the team a very valuable 8 points and likely their second straight Ballistic Bowl appearance. Romo threw three touchdowns and ran for another and finished the day with 38.86 points for the Bruisermakers....on the bench. Tebow performed well enough in most cases for this discussion to be a short one, marked off as pretty much of an even deal. But in a game of this magnitude those eight points stand out like a sore thumb. It is presumed Pardue hopes that Woodley scores 15 on Monday so he can point out that the decision of whom to play at quarterback didn't matter. We all know in fantasy football, and especially the eSFL, anything is possible and the Bruisermakers could hold on for a win tonight, and for coach Pardue those two scenarios are the only two he likely wishes for at this time.
The Igama Sweaty Palms witnessed on Sunday night what the Pardue Bruisermakers hope to witness on Monday night, a defensive starter scoring only two points. Terrell Suggs' performance has put the SP team in a position that they didn't want with the Kavanators trailing by only 16 plus points with a starting running back and receiver remaining. The SP's do have their kicker left to assist in holding the lead and just may do so. As it appears the Kavanators will have to score around 180 for a win and their first Ballistic Bowl appearance. Both teams performed as expected at all positions with the exception of the 'nators tight end production being shipped over to the SP's Hernandez who had 29.6 while Gronkowski disappointed with only 9.6.
Both division championships have been great contest and the winners of each will have earned their right to play in Ballistic Bowl 12 next week.
