Week 6-2013-Insider

Thanks to Pat Klimmer for an excellent job on the Insider.........

Nebula Matchups Week 6

Posted: Oct 11, 2013 20:35:05 by Pat Klim
There are many unanswered questions left to be answered in the Nebula Conference, such as who really are the big dogs in the division? We know the Billicats are, as their point production clearly demonstrates. The first matchup involves an enigma...the Klimko K`s, who have last 3 games by only a handful of points.

Klimko K`s @ Crazy Daizys

A close matchup, this contest can be sewn up in the WR
play for the K`s. If the WR core does not produce this
week it will come down to who has the better game
between Romo and Rodgers. I do foresee some strong WR
play that will sew up a K victory, 164-147.

Humanoid @ Crush

A battle of the 3-3`s, this tight knit game will boil
down to one key position...TE. The rest of the positions
seem to be filled with wishy-washy players, but the 2
studs at TE will influence their team to a win or loss.
The decision to start Jeffery by the Humanoid will hinder
this team, while the decision to not start Jacobs will
no doubt haunt the Crush team. Flip a coin, two bad
coaching moves to kick this game off spells bad T.V.
ratings. Dont expect to see these teams on Sunday or
Monday night any time soon. The commish has rescinded his
offer to have these teams play week 4 of 2014 in London.
Instead, they will showcase their talents at Burleson
High School, in Burleson, North Dakota. If I had to pick,
would go with the Crush on the backs of RB Moreno and
TE Cameron. Crush 131-124.

Fight`n Pollacks vs. Rams

Manning will not have enough pull this week to single
handedly pull off a victory against Brees, Hilton,
and WR Jackson. The team will defeat the man this
week as the Rams pull off another close one.
Rams 159-134

Brownskins vs. Oilers

Oilers...by a lot.

Whiz Kings @ Bunch

These two ordinary teams will rely on the shortcomings
their opponents or just plain luck all season. This pre-
diction is based on a very scientific formula I came
across. I threw a dart at the dartboard and it landed on
the Bunch. Good Luck Bunch!

Money Team vs. Stars

The string of bad luck continues for the Money Team,
from forgetting his computer to submit his assignment,
to a starting QB cranking out 9.8 points. Oh but it
doesn`t end there...DB jennings hung a 31 spot on that
ass this week for the Stars. It is rumored that the
owner of Money team has brought in motivational
speaker Tony Robbins to help them through this rough
patch. Adam Schefter of ESPN has cited an unknown
source that next week, Griffin will fly in Oprah
Winfrey to `right the ship`. We shall see...

Billiecats vs. Rubber Duckies

Billiecats, all day, every day. 170-135.

There is plenty of football left, good luck to all
owners, and I hope you take that literally...the luck part that is. For in the game of football, both real live action and fantasy, the ONLY constant is luck. Until next time...

Vintage Conference Matchups week 6

Posted: Oct 11, 2013 19:44:53 by E. Garcia
As we near the halfway point in our season, it seems that the race to the finish will be fast, furious, and hectic. This week in the Vintage, we have some matchups that can reflect some of our playoff matchups in the near future.

Rhodes Runners @ Texan Bruisers
Two words...Peyton Manning. Runners in a walk-away
165-142.
Whitmore Workhorse vs. D Crownholders
I just wasted more time typing this crap than this game
deserves to have devoted to it...

Fields Fanatix vs. R.R. Roughriders
Fanatix in a rout, this Roughrider team is almost as bad
as the 2 garbage teams mentioned above...Fanatix 174-138

Kavanators vs. Texas Boys
While the Kavanators are in first place, their true
colors are beginning to show. This team is not capable
a marathon. Their fall to the bottom begins now, as the
Texas Boys pull one out on the back of their slightly
better QB 142-130.

Sweaty Palms vs. Bruisermakers.
In a yawner of a game, the mediocrity will rise to the
top, as a team relying on Brandon Weeden should be exiled
Palms 148-127

Pulverizers vs. Flurries
Two decent teams in the thick of it. This will be
a close contest as both teams are fairly even in every
category. This nailbiter will come down to Luck`s
better play, Pulverizers 158-150.

Vigilante vs. Ruskies
A lucky week for the Vigilante. When a team gets 30 or
better from one defensive player, that is hard to
overcome. However, a shocking performance from RB Jacobs
will make this a little closer. The nail in the coffin
is the decision to start a weak Schaub at QB. While
shorthanded, this choice will ultimately cost the Ruskies
a loss. Viall 155- 137.

At this point in the season, the cream begins to rise to the top, with many teams having byes that challenge the G.M.`s here in the ESFL, it is how they can adapt and overcome that will shape their teams fate in the ESFL. Remember, the more time you sp
