The F. B. Rubber Duckies went into this contest with thoughts of getting back into the playoff picture against the 3-3 Oilers. Those thought were slowly but surely wiped out of their minds as the Oilers let wide receiver Dez Bryant (29.1) loose on his ass for a convincing victory. Duckies have sunkin to the bottom of the Orion division at 1-5 while the Oilers are now tied for fourth in the division.
Once again, only two players combined were able to score more than 20 points. The Texas Stars had just enough to move to 4-2 and a second place Orion division tie, a solid playoff position in the Nebula Orion. With the loss the Crush fall to .500 and in the middle of the playoff pack. The Stars were led by Tight End Julius Thomas' 33.2.

The Flurries ended a two game losing streak and remain one game behind the Global division leaders at 4-2. Defense and better coaching was the difference as the Roughriders are now 2-4 and in playoff desperation mode from here on out.

Zima Ruskies had little trouble against the flaccid Texas Boy's despite the surprise non-participation of star wideout Calvin Johnson. A defensive battle for sure, but this one was over before Sunday evenings game started as the defending champs watched Dez Bryant put up 29 and linebacker D. Washington (31) to lead the way to their 5th straight win and a share of first place with Pardue in the Global.

Neither team decided defense was important and Pardue decided Peyton Manning and the offensive crew of the Runners was unstoppable by halftime of the second games. Rhodes posted 12 touchdowns compared to the division leading Bruisermakers' zero. Pardue loses for the first time this season and is now in a tie for the division lead with Zima at 5-1.

Wonderful defensive play from the Palms wasn't enough to overcome the team effort of the upstart Bruisers. Great coaching (Jeffery 37, K. Allen 23) certainly was the difference as the Bruiser win their second straight and position themselves for a playoff run at 2-4.

8 points from a defensive unit will send you to the loss column almost every time. Viall wins their third straight and are now considered a threat in the playoff scene.
