eSFL Insider-2013 Kickoff-Week 1

The eSFL will kickoff it's 14th season on Thursday night with 14 teams, two of which are controlled by first year owners. Rosters have been reduced from 25 to 22, two minors roster spots have been added, the IR roster spots have been reduced from two to one, all just a few of the changes the new season will bring.

Two conference play was resumed for a second straight year, scoring rules remain unchanged, individual defensive players.

Also, this year the eSFL has went with a different schedule style. Rather than play each opponent in your assigned division twice or more, each team plays each team in their conference once. That makes every game a highly important contest in determining seasons tie-breakers because head to head tops the list. Each and every game has a lot of weight on the standings and owners will be battling to get into the post season against all conference teams rather than only those in their division.

This game will be decide by who scores the most defensive points. Jarred Allen gives a big edge to the Whiz Kings, check his numbers against the Lions the past 3 seasons folks. On the other side, Money team looks like they have hired Clancy Pendergast as the defensive coordinator..................

This McKevitt team looks like a candidate for league takeover and week one hasn't even kicked off. Standout Coalition in the making.

This weeks Vintage Conference games will end with Zima as the high scorer for the week at around 184.

The Runners will kick off their 14th season in the eSFL against the expansion franchise Rough Riders. Don't expect anything unusual from the Runners team this week, another loss, another wasted season.

How do you spell nail biter......
Fields will end week with second most points in league, Whitmore will be fourth.
Damn this is a close one.

Harrison Smith makes the difference. The F.B. Rubber Duckies look like a championship caliber unit entering the 2013 season but owned by Ron Kav limits their ability to dominate.
