Week one in the eSFL passed with a few teams looking pretty good. However, as a 14 year veteran of the eSFL I would like to point out that it means nothing. Last seasons Ballistic Bowl winner started the season 0-4 averaging only 125 points per game during that period.
There are teams built to win early, win mid-season, win late season, and win playoff times, the only problem is very few owners understand where their team is actually most likely to excel. Anyway, lets look at a little of the happenings last week before we move on to the upcoming week 2 big double header matches.

Week Notes:
Perdew ended the week with a shot at the all-time record for single week points fielded. This is a team built for early success but the running back situation does not look that good.
Zima, defending Ballistic Bowl champs fielded the second lowest point total in the league in week 1. No need to be alarmed, he started 0-4 last year and won the championship.
Temp's Texas Boy's look to be a team with no meat on the bone, pathetic. This team needs some great general managership to have any chance based on week one's performance.
Wallie's Texas Stars looked like the cream of the crop in the Nebula last week. 209 points and a solid looking quarterback. Does this team have enough at WR or RB is the question.
Lets look at a few games for the upcomig week 2. Since it is doubleheader week I will simply make my picks and throw in a comment occassionaly.
Vs Rhodes (Win by 45)
Vs Crownholder (Win by 18)
At Zima (Win by 15)
At Igama (Lose by 10)

If you aren't discussed than I consider your team not a factor in 2013, you'll get over it. Better luck next year.
Nebula teams of importance:

At Dlugiewicz (Win by 30)

Once again, if you aren't logo shown on this weeks insider you are not considered a factor in this years events, get over it buddy.
Finally, I would like to point out that you guys submit the most outragous trades to one another. Do you seriously think someone wants Jonathan Dwyer in exchange for Arian Foster?
This weeks games are huge, a split and your ok, a sweep out and you got some catching up to do. Throw in the importance of this years schedule playing all conference opponets once and every game is important. Good luck and feel free to post your opinions on upcoming games, it's easy. You can write news from your team page on the official site and some of you are even registered as writers for this site. If you want to be registerd to write on the Insider let me know and I will hook you up. After this weeks games I will be releasing a schedule for owners to take their turns writing a weekly post on the Insider, so get prepped! Owners who fail to meet their requirement can be docked game points!
See ya.
