Recaps-week1:
- Perdew 157.52 at Igama 173.12
The
defending league champs opened the season just like they finished last
year. Aaron Rodgers and Ray Lewis were the team scoring leaders in a
close contest that the Sweaty Palms pulled away late.

T-A-S: 11-3-1 |
Rodgers,Aaron | QB | GB | 32.82 |

Perdew's Arian Foster led the team with 25.5 and kicker Billy Cundiff kicked in 22 in the loss.
- Texan 165.56 at Fields 136.02
The
Texan Bruisers dominated the Fanatix and the losing team announced
afterwards they wanted a new team logo. The Bruisers were led by
quarterback Matt Ryan while the rest of the team failed to show up. "We
had enough today, but moving forward there are a lot of areas we need to
improve in", said head coach Chaz Temp.
46.86 | ATL | QB | Ryan,Matt |
Pass: 23-31-299-0 Rush: 3-25 Sck: 1 TDs: p8,p14,r5,p7, |
Coach
Fields liked what he saw from running back Matt Forte who led the team
offensively, but a coaching blunder resulted in his team using a kicker
that is not on an NFL roster. DeQwell Jackson led the team with 24.
- Viall 220.84 at Whitmore 141.6
The
Viall Vigilante won for only the third time in there past 24 contest
and placed the rest of the conference on notice. Led by kicker David
Akers' 33 points the team saw production across the board. The Workhorse
never was in the contest but posted a respectful 141.6 in the loss.

- Temp 179.9 at Frost 166.48
Temp's
Texas Boy's defeated long time rival Frost in a close contest that just
may have been decided by a kicker that did not play. Frost started N.
Rackers who was not on a NFL team. Temp was led by restricted free agent
wide receiver Julio Jones' 28.8.

- D 140.96 at Zima 130.72
The
Crownholder/Ruskies battle continued as these lifetime rivals matched
each other blow for blow. The Crownholder won the contest but decided to
make no comment after the game on the results. Crownholder were aided
to victory by Drew Brees 32.36 and kicker Blair Walsh booted in 20.

- Pardue 145.14 at Rhodes 112.48
The
Pardue Bruisermakers dominated the Runners with consistency across the
lineup and were led by quarterback Phillip Rivers' 20.64. "We will take
it, however, I believe more production will be needed from all positions
for this team to compete for a title in 2012", coach Pardue commented
following the game. The Runners failed in all areas and was highlighted
by several coaching mistakes. "It's not easy being the commissioner,
time spent running the league hinders my coaching abilities. It's not my
fault and for those jackasses I heard booing and making inappropriate
comments from the crowd, you can kiss my ass", coach Rhodes told Suzy
Kolber as he was leaving the field.

- Nebula Conference
- Flish 103.94 at McKevitt 167.82
Great
football minds prove they can overcome adversity and coach McKevitt of
the Meatstyx demonstrated he is in that elite group who can do just
that. Draft day issues and two-a-day concerns were thrown aside as the
Meatstyx pounded the Crazee Daizee team. McKevitt was led by running
back Steven Ridley's 26.3. "This team will compete, if anyone out there
thought otherwise, I suggest you re-evaluate the tools you use to make
that determination, we are here to win and will do so", McKevitte said.
Crazee Daizees could not be located for comment.

- Dlugiewicz 155.92 at Miami 192.82
"We
are not the Mona Lisa of the league, but I believe we will be a team
that will be displayed in high regard when it's all said and done",
coach Brown stated during his post game news conference. Led by
quarterback Aaron Rodgers 32.82 the Brownskins defeated the much aligned
Fight'ng Plllacks easily. The Pollacks also showed the league that they
would be a team to reckon with by scoring 155.92, a number that likely
would win six or seven games in a year.

- Klimko 168.98 vs Money Team 166.78
This
game is not official at this time and is currently under review. The
commissioners mathematics have this contest at 168.98 for both teams, a
tie. The tie would only be the second in league history and ironically
the K's were involved in the first back in 2004.
The Klimko team
overcame pre-season drama to build a nice week one group that should be
able to win four or five games this season, a compliment to say the
least. They were led by Julio Jones and Brandon Marshall, both acquired
via trades. "For the life of me, I am amazed at the ignorance of these
fantasy football coaches who trade away their best in return for a
position, I will use their ignorance to my advantage and all the way to
the Ballistic Bowl", Klimko screamed at the sparsely populated post
game news conference. The Money team is hoping the contest is still not
out of reach and their coach released a statement just minutes ago that
said he has total confidence in the league an commissioner to closely
evaluate the games scoring.

26.9 | CHI | WR | Marshall,Brandon |
Rec: 9-119 TDs: c3, |
- Standout 163.06 at Brady Bunch 202.36
The
Brady Bunch team walloped the Vintage Conference team by 40 points. Led
by quarterback Matt Ryan they were able to hold off the Coalition who
made a late surge. Something tells me these two teams will meet in the
postseason.
Ryan,Matt | QB | ATL | 46.86 |
Pass: 23-31-299-0 Rush: 3-25 Sck: 1 TDs: p8,p14,r5,p7, |
Forte,Matt | RB | CHI | 23.6 |
Rush: 16-80 Rec: 3-40 TDs: r6, |
- W. Virginia 118.92 at Kav 195.92
With
all the hype the venom failed to meet expections as the Kavanators won
this game easily. Production from top to bottom the Kavanators
catapulted themselves towards the top of the division in playoff
potential.
Cutler,Jay | QB | CHI | 27.92 |
Pass: 21-35-333-1 Rush: 4--4 Sck: 2 TDs: p3,p42, |
- Wallie's 112.1 at Orange 203.4
Remove
all doubts from your minds, the Orange Crush are not just a fancy logo
and team name. Tom Brady and Frank Gore pounded a pathetic Texas Stars
unit that was the second lowest point production of the week behind the
Crazee Daizees.
Brady,Tom | QB | NE | 27.84 |
Pass: 23-31-236-0 Rush: 2-1 Sck: 1 TDs: p23,p2, |
Gore,Frank | RB | SF | 20.9 |
Rush: 16-112 Rec: 1-1 TDs: r23, |
What we learned from week one in the eSFL:
Draft day is over rated.
Kickers can win games.
Coaching decides outcomes.
Defense is important.
Luck is the king of fantasy football.
