Week 1-GAME OF THE WEEKS
Josh Perdew

(transcript from eSFL Radio broadcast on 8 Sep 2012)
Well, we will start off with the game of the week in the Nebula, the Pardue Bruisermakers versus the Rhodes Runners, I’m sorry, the Vintage Conference I should say. Game of the week, Pardue Bruisermakers Rhodes Runners, The score right now is 20.3 Pardue to zero for Rhodes who had nobody playing on the early game this week, no Giants, no Cowboys. Pardue got 20.3, 12.5 outta Dez and 7.8 outta Nicks. That’s kind a disappointment from both of his receivers. I think he is behind now, I think the momentum has shifted over to the Runners, I believe they are gonna take this game, it’s gonna be about a 145-140 victory…Rhodes Runners. I like Sproles to have a big game against Washington….Calvin Johnson is a beast, I think Vick will be O.K., on the other side I believe Pardue has a decent quarterback in Rivers….I’m not sold on McFadden…everybody is liking that guy this year but I’m not sold on him. Defensively I think Pardue has a little bit of an advantage other than that Jarad Allen guy which we all know what he can do. I like the Runners. Any comments on that Terry or Jay?
Moving over to the Nebula….game of the week…that would be the Venom of West Virginia against the Kavanators. Proven bunch in the Kavanators…got a nice squad, wound up one of his better teams I think, led by Jay Cutler, Lesean McCoy he got in a trade…Darren McFadden I am not sold on him as I said, Maclin, Stevie Johnson and Miles Austin who got a 17.3 on Wednesday night, that was a nice little play…got him a touchdown with four catches for 73. I think on the other side the Venom has a pretty strong quarterback in Peyton Manning but we haven’t seen what he can do. He’s got Robert Turbin in the lineup from Seatle, if Lynch doesn’t play that’s a good start, if Lynch plays that’s a bum (dog toy squeaks). Beanies a bum…Greg Jennings is good….Wes Welker is solid….Calvin Johnson is a beast…Aaron Hernandez is pretty decent…the Venom has got the no I think overall in total offense if Robert Turbin plays I think Robert Turbin is gonna be the winner of this game if he plays Rhodes says….ROBERT TURBIN IS A DOG, throw him a toy. Squeak squeak. Throw him a toy huh? IGAMA says…How did she get Welker, Jennings, and Calvin Johnson on the same squad? Perdew says….that’s a male running that show Jay and uhh, he drafted wide receiver heavy, one two and three rounds..I mean, he got Jennings in the third I believe and that’s a steal in my opinion…top eight wide receiver. Hernandez in the fourth and I think Peyton Manning in the fifth….drafted Welker in the second round. Got a decent defense too im Willis, Ray Lewis, Kyle Arrington, Jason McCourty. He’s solid top to bottom. Kav on the other side got defensively Branch who’s pretty good…Jerodd Mayo, Witherspoon from Atlanta and Devin McCourty..so he’s got a decent defense but I don’t think he can keep up defensively with the Venom. And offensively its gonna be really really close….I think the Turbin play is going to make the difference. If Turbin plays I think the Venom wins this game by about 15 points. If Turbin doesn’t play it depends on who he puts in there…wether it be Pierre Thomas, Evan Royster, Rashard Mendenhall who is questionable, It’s gonna be really really close if Turbin doesn’t play, I think the nod goes to Kav by about four points. You can comment since this is a live show too….Terry.
You may listen to the entire show on eSFL Radio or at the commissioners site.
