eSFL INSIDER WEEK 3, 2010

ESFL INSIDER WEEK 3

By Garrett M Bauer

Week three is upon us after some great week 2 action. The Bruisermakers have established themselves as a clear favorite for the Ballistic Bowl by dropping over 170 pts in consecutive weeks. Watch out for the Bruisermakers as they tear up the Global Division.

It appears that teams are finding trouble in looking for offensive help on the waiver wire. With many teams backups and third stringers already on team rosters, trading for players may be the best way to tweak that roster.

WEEK 3 MATCHUPS AND PREDICTIONS

Zima Ruskies (1-1) vs Pardue Bruisermakers (2-0)

The Bruisermakers look to stay undefeated this week and push their record to 3-0. With help from the new, or should I say old Mike Vick leading the way it looks like the unstoppable Bruisermakers go 3-0. Unfortunately for the Ruskies they will play the Bruisermakers back to back and will offer little resistance to the offensive powerhouse.

Prediction: Bruisermakers

G MAN (0-2) vs D Crownholders (0-2)

This battle crosses divisions this week with both teams searching for their first win of the 2010 season. Neither team wants to get off to an 0-3 start. GMAN will look to #1 pick Chris Johnson for a big score this week. D Crown’s Clay Matthews may be able to defeat GMAN himself, as Matthews has been lights out, knocking opposing QBs out of games and lineups. GMAN will be putting Best into the lineup to hopefully give him the best backfield and first win of the year.

Prediction: GMAN

Texan Bruisers (2-0) vs Kavs Kavanators (1-1)

The Kavanators wiil try to put the first blemish on the Bruisers’ record. Kavanators are led by Jay Cutler and Desean Jackson. The Kavs need Ray Ray to wake up as Baltimore hosts Cleveland this week. I’ve got the Bruisers lumping up the Kavanators this week, but not by too many points.

Prediction: Bruisers

Viall Vigilante (0-2) vs Fields Fanatix (1-1)

The Fanatix dropped a close one to the Texan Bruisers last week. They have nothing to worry about this week as Tom Brady and Welker will score close to 100 points as they take on the Bills. The Vigilantes team is busted up worse than Reggie Bush’s leg. The Vigilante needs to press that barrel to his temple and pull the trigger this week.

Prediction: Fanatix

Whitmore Workhorse (1-1) vs Perdew Pulverizers (1-1)

The Workhorse will have to start James Harrison 3 times this week to keep pace with the Pulverizers. Unfortunately that’s not allowed. The Pulverizers led by their keeper from last year, McCoy, a good Irish boy, and the gunslinging Phil Rivers will get the by on the winning track!

Prediction: Pulverizers

Frost’s Furious Flurries (1-1) vs McKinney’s Rednecks (2-0)

The Flurries will rely on A.D. on the offensive side of the ball and have Flowers and the reliable Witherspoon on the defensive side as they look to take down the undefeated Rednecks in week 3 action. The Rednecks won’t go easy, bringing the stars of the Houston Texans offense and defense. The well rounded Rednecks will get contributions from every position and continue their perfect season into next weeks doubleheader.

Prediction : Rednecks

Temp’s Texas Boys (1-1) vs Boot Hill Balut (1-1)

Temp’s Texas Boys bring the baddest LB core into week 3 to square off with Boot Hill Balut. Aaron Rodgers will put up big numbers again this week for Boot Hill. Boot Hill will need his receiving trio to dig deep to hang with Temp’s Texas Boys this week.

Prediction: Texas Boys
