Game Notes
All time series McKinney leads 4-3 including a McKinney win in week two of this season 170-167.

The Zima Ruskies enter this week on life support two games behind the Rednecks for fourth place in the Global and the final playoff spot. After a devastating week four double header two game loss the Ruskies have battled to put themselves back into the hunt, winning three of five since. The team can rest on the fact that wide receiver Vincent Jackson last week displayed the brilliance that led the D Crownholder team to a world championship a few years ago, scoring
39 points in a win over the Bruisermakers. However, running back Chris Johnson has failed to provide the expected punch when he was acquired via trade several weeks ago and is on the verge of being benched in favor of Reggie Bush. This is a team on the rise and should be closely monitored by league owners as a serious contender for the Ballistic Bowl.
On the other hand, the McKinney Rednecks started the season with four wins in the first five but has since dropped five in a row to fall out of the playoff picture. With a loss this week the Rednecks can  schedule their travel arrangements to the Gunner Cup tourney. What has gotten this team in this position is poor coaching, poor general managership, and frankly, a lack of interest and desire. What was once considered a model franchise in the eSFL has now turned into a ghost team that is likely in it's last. Rumors continue to swirl that the Rednecks will not be offered an opportunity to participate in the league after the season is complete.
With that said, the Rednecks will win this week and send the Ruskies back into panic mode. At press time the McKinney staff appeared to have set their lineup for the first time in three weeks, and it is bad news for the Ruskies. Although the team lacks depth they are behind their bye weeks and have a formidable lineup.

Game Notes
Temp lost to D in week one and is 6-3 lifetime vs the Crownholder.

The D Crownholder have been a team that has lacked consistency, winning big and following up with a huge disappointment. AFter winning four straight they have lost two of the last three and are now trying to hold onto a playoff spot. Most would agree that playoff spot is not in serious jeopardy but a loss this week would change that situation. With quarterback Aaron Rodgers at the helm it is hard to imagine this team not being among the final Global division four, but poor performance from the teams wide receiver corp has made it ownerships primary concern. On paper, these teams are very very similar in scoring categories across the board and the Crownholder team will certainly be a tough beat for the Temp Boy's this week.
The Boy's are looking for their first ever division crown and have displayed the power to acquire it. Last week a tough non division loss to his childhood playmate and great friend, Chaz Templin of the Texan Bruisers, sent ownership into the excuse mode. Coach Templin is not known across the league as an excuse maker and it was a big surprise when he pulled out the "bye" week one after the loss. Maybe that is what a team does when they have their four game win streak snapped against a big time rival.
Regardless of the standings, Temp will rebound this week with a solid team performance and certainly finish at or above his season average of 156.37. The unfortunate thing for them is the Crownholder will show up with their "A" game and post in excess of 175 for the win.

Game Notes
Frost enters with a five game losing streak and lost to Pardue in week 7 of this year. Pardue leads all time series 11-2.

Folks, this is the week to get your shopping done, the traffic around the stadium will not be an issue. The Frost Furrious Flurries simply do not have a team that can compete against the big boys, little boys, or no one. The most pathetic team in the 2011 eSFL will likely be beaten as quickly as the second quarter of NFL games begin. At the bottom of the league in most all stats this team will be lucky to exceed 100 points again.
If you wish to witness an all out demolition buy a ticket to this one. The Bruisermakers have fought injury battles all season, losing their top draft pick, their top wide receiver for several weeks, and more. Even with those injury's the team has been able to compete and are in a great position to obtain the Global division wild card. Pardue must win this game, a loss here is not only a stomach buster, but would put this organization into panic mode.
Start the panic mode then, the upset of the week is right here. Frost will get solid performances from Flacco, Titus Young, Lance Moore, oh well, I simply can't find enough points from this unit..........

Game Notes
Texan has won 6 games in a row and Whit has lost 4 straight. Texan beat Whit in week one to go 3-2 all time in the series.

The Texan Bruisers come in on a six game winning streak, none bigger than the last over his long time friend and rival Matt Templin of the Texas Boy's. The Bruisers are in second place in the Appalachian division and on the heels of the once considered unbeatable Perdew Pulverizers, one game out. With last weeks win the Bruisers have all but locked up another season in which they will be playoff bound and a serious contender for the Ballistic Bowl. With a ring on the line this season, the Texan team has made it known his intentions to wear it, and especially the next time he sees his ole pal Matt. The surprise to me is how he has won eight of ten games this season with a less than remarkable roster. Other than Ray Rice this team has nothing but a bunch of mid tier fantasy performers that must somehow find a way to continue to do what they have been. The big question is, can they do it in the final weeks of the season?
Last seasons Ballistic Bowl winner enters this weeks game in a hurt box for sure. The Whitmore Workhorse have quickly fallen from world champions with a decent team and strong playoff contender to "the team that got lucky last year". This week poses the team an opportunity to extend their losing streak to five, something that no owner wants, or expects after winning the previous four of five contes. The ponies should play to form and score their normal 112 points, a total that s likely to equal the difference in this contest. However, with a squad that is much better than the 8-2 opponent this week, the ponies will likely get back on track with a win. How can you lose five in a row with a unit that includes, Rivers, Jones-Drew, Driver, and Decker?

Perdew beat Kav in week six and is 2-3 lifetime in the reg season series.

Don't you wish you had a crystal ball? If you did, you would be able to know what Josh Perdew was going to say before he said it. Well, ok, everyone already knows, "My team is the shit", "I'm the best eSFL coach since, well, ever", "I planned for injuries and they happened the exact week I figured they would", blah blah blah. Notice to Perdew from the reality monitor, your team has averaged only 132.59 points against it each week, THE LOWEST IN THE LEAGUE!  This week, that isnt happening. Vick and Shady McCoy won't be enough to make up for your pathetic defense to save you.
The Kavanators, voted by fans on the eSFL Insider in a recent poll, were named the leagues biggest talkers to never accomplish anything. Week in and week out coach Kav makes some of the stupidest statements to ever be heard from a team that is in hunt of their first playoff appearance in league history. However, on a recent local radio show Kav was heard to inform coach Perdew that this week will be his time to shine, and if he has any problem with that than pooohey! Led by a revamped wide receiver group the 'naters will be asking quarterback John Beck to sit back and watch Carson Palmer....well....anyway, the 'naters have the horses if you like nags.
And did we mention the Pulverizers like to win?

Fields defeated Viall in week 3 of this season and is 7-0 lifetime versus coach Joel V.

The Vigilante won last week and then their coach gets sassy. First of all, the Viall team winning happens about as often as coach Joe Paterno sees someone getting butt fucked in his locker room shower. With his win the team broke a ten game skid dating back to week 13 of last season. Congratulations! Now the team is rewarded with a chance to win two in a row for the first time since Pluto was a planet. At 1-9 the sad thing is this team is playoff eligible with the Blackjack rule, sad indeed.
On the other side of the ball is future hall of famer Bruce F who has found himself in an unfamiliar position, a loser looking up at all but the worst of losers. Do not be fooled by the Fanatix record folks, it is actually better than the team really is. Coach Fields erred many ways at this seasons draft, and has also fallen into some bad luck. Anyhow, there is no use on wasting skin cells typing anything about theses scrub teams. No one cares who wins, noone cares. Well, I love both these guys and they have been great owners in the league for many years. I appreciate everything they have done for the eSFL and wish them both the best of luck.

Game Notes
First ever meeting between franchises.

Get ready for another non division family fued. Last weeks Temp vs Temp matchup will be hard to compete with and likely won't be. The Igama team has slowly moved from a big disappointment to a contender. With a slow start from their star running back Arian Foster the team had trouble getting enough points from the position to win consistent basis. That all seems a thing in the past and the team is one of the most feared in the Appalachian Division. When Foster performs and the defense gets 37 or so, this team is a tough beat. Throw into the mix something called Dwayne Bowe and my goodness.
This season, coach Rhodes packed up and left Boot Hill to return to where it all started in hopes of re-discovering his winning ways  as the Rhodes Runners. The move has looked like a good one, winning seven of ten this season. However, don't be fooled, this team could easily be 3-7 right now, winning several games by 10 points or so. With Calvin Johnson, Frank Gore, Brandon Pettigrew, Vernon Davis, and Jarod Allen all wearing stars on their sleeves, this team can be one to lead coach Rhodes to his third Ballistic Bowl appearance and possibly a second world title. Nope.

Week 9 Recap 2011

Listen to eSFL Postgame every Sunday evening at 8 pm ET on eSFL Radio!

Igama moves back into contention with Kavanators beatdown

Sweaty Palms 189.7 - Kavanators 159.08
Igama Sweaty Palms knocked down an Appalachian power late Sunday evening and moved back into the playoff picture.  Still a win away from .500, Igama has the most points scored of the bottom four teams in the Appalachian division, and would take the blackjack if the season ended today.  Igama scored 138.7 on offense, led by Willis McGahee(32.3) and Matt Ryan(31.5).  Special teams and defense combined for 51 in the victory.  Coach Kav got solid production from newly acquired QB Carson Palmer(28.38) and RB Mike Tolbert chipped in 27.1 in the loss.  The Kavanators were without a few wideouts due to injury(Nicks and Andre Johnson), but losing with 150 plus points is tough to take.  With the loss, the Kavanators could potentially slide out of the playoff picture if a losing streak begins.  The race is getting tight in the Appalachian with five teams fighting for the top four spots.

Frost melts down and gets slaughtered by the Crownholders

DCrownholders 157.18 - Frost 96.6
Frost failed to post 100 points for the third time this season, and remains winless in the Global Division.  DCrownholders throttled Frost behind team MVP Aaron Rodgers with 45.58 points.  Marshawn Lynch chipped in with 24.7 on the ground and DCrown moves back into playoff talks.  Joe Flacco(20.1) was the only player to break the twenty point mark and Michael Turner chipped in 17.7 in a losing effort.  James Harrision was held out of Frosts lineup this week, and it cost him with 8 tackles and 3 sacks.  Although some folks thought this game was over before it started, anything is possible in this stellar league.

Runners take down Rednecks and quietly move to second in the Global

Rhodes Runners 142.04 - McKinney Rednecks 102.44
McKinney failed to post a lineup for the second consecutive week and the Runners took advantage handing the Rednecks a beat down on Sunday afternoon.  Led by QB Josh Freeman(24.24) and another solid defensive performance (39.5), the Runners move up in the Global division and are going to contend for the Global regular season division title.  McKinney, who could have competed and possibly won with the right lineup, is now on the outside looking in at the final playoff spot.  He was led by two solid defensive players in Roman Harper (17.5) and Patrick Willis (17) in the losing effort.

Pulverizers offense continues to produce, takes down rival Fanatix for the season sweep

Perdew Pulverizers 138.32 - Fields Fanatix 86.58
It wasn't pretty, but the Pulverizers found a way to win late on Monday night with the trio of Vick. McCoy, and Forte leading the squad to a victory.  McCoy led the Pulverizers with 25.3 points.  Fields struggles again on both sides of the ball and failed to post 100 points for the second time in three weeks.  Both weak performances came against the Pulverizers this season and the regular season dominance of this rival continues for the Pulverizers.  Fanatix team captain and MVP Tom Brady scored 23.88 and placekicker Connor Barth with 14 points was the only other member to post double digits.  With both team defenses putting up 20 points and special teams nearly even, the game was won by Perdew's offense.  Fields only hope of a playoff spot now lies with the blackjack rule, but he is over 100 points behind the Sweaty Palms who lead that race as well.

Ruskies come back in dramatic fashion, knock off the Pardue Brusiermakers

Zima Ruskies 174.82 - Pardue Bruisermakers 158.96
Nobody likes a bully!  This Global Division battle was a high scoring affair with Zima finally finding production from Chris Johnson and knocked off the very talented Bruisermaker squad late Monday evening.  The Ruskies got a monster performance by Vincent Jackson with 39.1 and Drew Brees chipped in 28.8 points, Ruskies got just enough from kicker Gould to take down the bully.  Pardue got production from everywhere but defense (21.5), and that seem to be the difference.  Romo scored 30.56 and Brandon Marshall chipped in 24.6 in the losing effort.  With the victory, Zima climbs back up the ladder in a very tight Global playoff race.

Texan Bruisers win showdown against cousin, knock off Temp's Texas Boys

Texan Bruisers 138.96 - Temp's Texas Boys 125.98
In a family affair, the Bruisers knock of the Texas Boys for the second time in history. This could be the start of a non-divisional rivalry that I think everyone would like to see every year.  A potential Ballistic Bowl match up as well, this one came down to the wire late Monday night with neither defensive player doing much.  With the game of the week label, it lived up to the hype but the Texas Boys were damaged with bye weeks and this one would have went the other way if not for AP and Stafford on byes.  The Bruisers were led by their running game with Ray Rice (22.4) and DeMarco Murray (24.8) carrying the load.  Temp, who had their number one draft pick on bye, got solid performances from Matt Hasselback (29.18) and Michael Bush (22.8).  The difference in this one was certainly defense but neither was impressive.

With the crowd chanting "Urlacher", Vial gets first win, knock off defending champs Whitmore

Vial Vigilante 140.2 - Whitmore Workhorse 135.2
As projected in the eSFL weekly Insider, this was finally the week for the Vigilantes to prevail.  Bad luck has kept this team from victory more times than not this season, but Big Ben was not to be denied today.  Rothlisburger led the Vial squad with 22.9 points and 39 points combined on the ground from Pierre Thomas and Steven Jackson proved to be enough.  Whitmore, who needed this win, fails to get the job done, and the playoff race tightens up in the Appalachian.  Phillip Rivers led the Workhorse with 38.7 points and Darren Sproles chipped in 21.3 in a losing effort.  LB Brian Urlacher came into the Monday night game needing 9.5 points and accomplished that feat in the third quarter to put the Workhorse away.  Rumor has it, the Vigilantes have officially sold out their remaining games this season, and still have hopes of the blackjack rule potentially getting them to a playoff spot.  Only time will tell.....

eSFL Insider-Week 9 2011

Week 9 of the eSFL has some interesting divisional games, and an outstanding match-up in the non division game.  The playoff picture is suppose to become clearer at this point in the season, but I think it may be clouding up really fast.  A blackjack rule could come into play in both divisions, but only time will tell.

Take a peek at the nice match-up boxes that have been created and brought to you by our sponsors.

Rhodes Runners vs McKinney Rednecks
As a trend in this article, of course one team in almost every match up has not set a lineup at the time of this article.  Rhodes Runners are glad to return back from Boot Hill and the name change has the Runners looking like a serious contender since their almost forgotten title run back in 2008.  Coach T Rhodes has a rather strange lineup with an "all in" approach with the Bucs players Freeman, Blount, Parker, and Brisco.  They are without leading scorer and team captain Calvin Johnson who has a bye this week.  This will hurt the offense numbers of the Runners.  McKinney will probably start Colt McCoy, Matthews, Tomlinson, Gates, Maclin, and fresh off a bye week Roddy White.  The bye weeks are pretty much behind McKinney and his team should look to rebound and return to form.  The Runners have won a few games solely with defense as well as the Redecks.  I think this game will be the closest of the week with McKinney pulling the upset.
Runners 124 - Rednecks 129

D Crownholders vs Frost Furrious Flurries

Dcrown rolls in with all of the usual starters this week as potential league MVP Aaron Rodgers leading the way.  McFadden is struggling with injury and could play a factor in the outcome of this match up.  Plaxico and DeSean will be solid and TE Witten will be the go to guy in the passing offense.  Frosty has yet to set a lineup, but I would guess that his lineup will be littered with garbage.  Turner is coming off a bye and should be solid along side Tony Gonzalez, but Flacco and Lance Moore can't cover the offense numbers from D Crown.  Frost will compete, but DCrown pulls away late.
Crownholders 143 - Flurries128

Pardue Bruisermakers vs Zima Ruskies
Pardue seems to have a playoff spot locked up with another win or two in the next five weeks, but Zima may be in a must win situation to avoid having to see the blackjack possibly determine his playoff fate.  At 3-6, and only five games remaining, his schedule is fairly easy after this tough one.  With matchups versus McKinney, Rhodes, DCrown and Frost, the Ruskies should easily win three of four and have a legitimate chance to make the playoffs with a win this week vs Pardue.  Coach Pardue always finds a way to win without stellar offensive or defensive players that everyone else seems to overlook.  He is a matchup genius, but if he can pull off the victory this week against Zima, he will cruise to the playoffs for a third consecutive year.  Zima has not set a lineup but we should see Drew Brees lead the way with Chris Johnson, Vincent Jackson, Marques Colston, Jermichael Finley, and company against Pardue's less than stellar Tebow, Kevin Faulk, Emmanual Sanders, and company.  Zima looks to have too much fire power here and I see him moving up the standings and potentially stealing the fourth spot in the Global Division.
Ruskies 149 - Bruisermakers 123

Temp's Texas Boy's vs Texan Bruisers

Again, this week's game of the week, comes to us as the non-divisional game and it just so happens to be a family affair.  The eSFL has seen a few of these types of match ups in the past, most notably the Kazima boys, the Fields, and the McKinneys. Some folks have even ended up sleeping on the couch on Monday nights after the game.  Not to worry about these two Templins as they are miles apart, but the shit talking has already began.  These boys have circled this game on the calendar since the schedules were announced.  Coach Matt is without a couple of studs who are on bye weeks, and Coach Chaz is starting his usual lineup.  Schaub, Rice, Fitz, Dez, and company will be too much for Hasselback, Greene, Jennings, and Wallace to handle.  The Bruisers offense will surpass Temps Boys by 15 points and that will be the difference.
Bruisers 154 - Texas Boy's 149

Whitmore Workorse vs Vial Vigilante

This is the match up that Vial has been looking forward to all season.  The Vigilantes get their shot at knocking off the defending eSFL champs.  With the bye weeks and injuries, Vial has a legitimate chance to get his first eSFL victory in nearly a decade.....well, ok this season...Vial made a few questionable roster changes a few weeks ago and some owners feel like he is no longer a threat.  I disagree with Big Ben, Steven Jackson, and Pierre Thomas playing well as of late, these boys are hungry for a victory.   Whitmore has Rivers at the helm, with Sproles, Decker, Rice and Bess leading his squad in scoring.  Whit has the advantage on defense, but Vial has him dominated on offense.  Vial pulls the upset!
Vigilante 138 - Workhorse 132

Kav's Kavanators vs Igama Sweaty Palms

Igama comes into the match up winning three of their last four games and have found a few hidden gems.  Someone woke up Arian Foster and he has been lights out.  Bowe always seems to find a way to get the job done in the second half of the season, Washington and Ryan have under performed so far.  This team was a favorite to win the Appalachian Division preseason, and have truly disappointed most of their fans.   The stadium should be a packed house when the Kavanators come to town.  Coach Kav has made some trades that have boosted his team to hold arguably the best receivers in the league.  Welker, Andre Johnson, and Nicks are as good as they get.  The team abandoned the QB spot and it could hurt them in the playoffs.  The deciding factor in this game is Mendenhall.  If he continues to get a workload, the Kavanators should cruise to victory, but with an unfavorable matchup this week, Igama steals the show with Arian Foster and company.
Kavanators 144 - Sweaty Palms 157

Perdew Pulverizers vs Fields Fanatix

Hall of Fame nominee, paper bag on the head wearing coach Fields has seen the bottom before, but its been many years ago.  You have to feel bad for the guy after drafting a boat load of Colts players hoping some guy named Manning would be leading them to supremacy.  After a tough beat in week one with 156 points, this team has broken the 150 point mark only once since then.  A week six victory over Igama keep the Fanatix alive until the latest two game skid.  The Fanatix squad will be led by team captain and MVP Tom Brady along with Reggie Wayne, Manningham, and Fred Davis.  Fields continues to routinely drop 120-135 points each week, but the season average is over 145 per week.  This is not a winning formula, and to make matters worse, they have to travel to West Virginia to play the Appalachian Division leading Perdew Pulverizers.  Led by Michael Vick and arguably the best running back trio in the league with McCoy, Forte, and Fred Jackson, the Pulverizers look to have this one easily.  This game could be over by halftime, but Fields squad posts a late comeback to make it respectable.

Week 8 Recap 2011

Vigilante's get his first victory ?!?!?!?!?! NOOOOOO !!!

Texan Bruisers 156.1- Vial Vigilantes 148.5
Thus is the life of a Vigilante fan, watch their team lose a game that was all but sealed. Coach Vial somehow found a way to lose to the Texan Bruisers with six seconds left on the clock.  In an epic battle on Monday night, Coach Chaz got an interception from defensive back Eric Weddle to take away Vial's first victory of the season.  The Vigilantes were led by running back Steven Jacksons 39.6 and Big Ben's 30.6.  The Bruisers were led by stud Ray Rice with 39.7 and Weddle's two interception game and 25 big points.  Coach Chaz was pretty confident in a pregame interview saying that he felt his team was a beast this week and definitely didn't want to give Vial his first victory.  Lucky for him, Weddle sealed the deal and he will remain one game back in the rather weak Appalachian Division playoff race.

Ware too much for D, Pardue takes the victory

Pardue Bruisermakers 137.98 - D Crownholders 82.7
DeMarcus Ware dropped a 40.5 bomb on that ass late Sunday evening with the quietest four sack game I have ever seen.  The Pardue Bruisermakers remain in the playoff picture in the Global and move to 6-3 on the season.  DCrown, losing three in a row, now find themselves fighting for the last playoff spot at 5-4.  Steve Smith chipped in 24.3 in the losing effort for D Crown.  This rivalry has seen two blowouts this season with D winning the first one back in week four and Pardue winning here.  These two just might see each other in the first round of the playoffs and I would bet that the next time will be a fight.

Temp's Texas Boys roll over McKinney's junk lineup

Temp's Texas Boys 180.38- McKinney Rednecks 109.34
The McKinney Rednecks failed to show once again and are on the verge of being banned from the league due to lack of participation. Coach McKinney failed post a lineup, but it didn't matter as the Boys from Texas came to town. Temp's deadly combo of Matt Stafford (37.08) and Adrian Peterson (36.3) were too much for McKinney.  This one was over before it started as the Rednecks continue have depth, lineup, coaching, and general manager issues.  Colt McCoy had 16.84 and TE Heath Miller added 15.5 in the losing effort.  McKinney is currently on a four game losing skid and could come up short of a playoff berth.  Temp is currently riding atop the Global and in command of winning the division outright.

Too much "O" for Whitmore, Pulverizers shine

Perdew Pulverizers 181.56 - Whitmore White Workhorse 140.76
First round draft pick LeSean McCoy came up big on Sunday night with a 39 point performance and put Whitmore to bed early.  Michael Vick chipped in 33.06 along side McCoy and the Pulverizers cruise to victory.  Whitmore was led with a balanced attack, however a dissapointing performance from QB Philip Rivers (11.96) sealed his fate. Running back M. Jones-Drew (17.2), and WR Eric Decker (19.2) were the best he had.  The loss drops Whit to 4-5 and makes that fourth playoff spot in the Appalachian up for grabs.  If the losing continues for Whit, Igama, and Fields, we could see the blackjack rule come into play and even Vial has a shot to get in.  This could get interesting....

Runners glad to be back where they started it all

Rhodes Runners 144.18- Frost Furrious Flurries 110.84
The Rhodes Runners (6-3) beat the punch less Frost Furrious Flurries (1-8) and moved into a second place tie in the Global division. Once again defensive end Jarred Allen (19) was the difference while Frank Gore (23.5) and stud Calvin Johnson (24.5) did what they are supposed to do as first and second round picks. Not to be overlooked was the wonderful play of defensive back J. Byrd (19.5) in what has to be the best off season hiring in the league, Ryan Rhodes was secretly named the teams defensive coordinator and has single handily won four games for the Runners this season. "what was considered a training situation to develop Ryan into the future owner and coach of the Runners (no one lives forever you know) has turned out to be a training situation to me", coach Rhodes stated after the win.  Meanwhile, the Flurries need a huge late season run for any hopes of reaching the playoffs via the Blackjack rule.

Kavanators roll over Ruskies in non divisional matchup

Kav's Kavanators 157.22- Zima Ruskies 105.46
The Zima Ruskies (3-6) layed an egg a week after earning team of the week honors and find themselves in a position of panic for a playoff spot in the Global. Coach Zima sent his second round pick of 2012 in exchange for running back Chris Johnson a few weeks ago and has got little to no return for it. It appears this team needs to win at least four of the final five games to have a chance at the real postseason tourney, but the Blackjack rule could be a savior. Meanwhile, the Kavanators (6-3) won their second straight game to solidify their playoff position. They were led by Derrick Johnson's Monday night defensive performance of  27.5 points. This team is in dire need of a quarterback and has two weeks to come up with one as the trade deadline is approaching.

Sweaty Palms slide past Fields in a tight one

Igama Sweaty Palms 135- Fields Fanatix 122
The Igama SP (4-5) pulled a shrewd move on Sunday evening that all but ensured a victory in week 8. With the Fields Fanatix (2-7) in need of a starting kicker, coach Igama dipped into the free agent pool and signed KC placekicker Ryan Succup. Succup posted 15 points, which would have given Fields 137 and a win. One of the greatest coaching moves of all time! The move eliminated any opportunity of coach Fields to acquire the only kicker remaining for the week, and locked a victory for the Sweaty Palms, a team that is really on the rise. "Anytime you can out coach a future hall of fame coach it feels good", stated Igama after the game.
