Vigilante's get his first victory ?!?!?!?!?! NOOOOOO !!!
Texan Bruisers 156.1- Vial Vigilantes 148.5
Thus is the life of a Vigilante fan, watch their team lose a game that was all but sealed. Coach Vial somehow found a way to lose to the Texan Bruisers with six seconds left on the clock. In an epic battle on Monday night, Coach Chaz got an interception from defensive back Eric Weddle to take away Vial's first victory of the season. The Vigilantes were led by running back Steven Jacksons 39.6 and Big Ben's 30.6. The Bruisers were led by stud Ray Rice with 39.7 and Weddle's two interception game and 25 big points. Coach Chaz was pretty confident in a pregame interview saying that he felt his team was a beast this week and definitely didn't want to give Vial his first victory. Lucky for him, Weddle sealed the deal and he will remain one game back in the rather weak Appalachian Division playoff race.
Ware too much for D, Pardue takes the victory
Pardue Bruisermakers 137.98 - D Crownholders 82.7
DeMarcus Ware dropped a 40.5 bomb on that ass late Sunday evening with the quietest four sack game I have ever seen. The Pardue Bruisermakers remain in the playoff picture in the Global and move to 6-3 on the season. DCrown, losing three in a row, now find themselves fighting for the last playoff spot at 5-4. Steve Smith chipped in 24.3 in the losing effort for D Crown. This rivalry has seen two blowouts this season with D winning the first one back in week four and Pardue winning here. These two just might see each other in the first round of the playoffs and I would bet that the next time will be a fight.
Temp's Texas Boys roll over McKinney's junk lineup
Temp's Texas Boys 180.38- McKinney Rednecks 109.34
The McKinney Rednecks failed to show once again and are on the verge of being banned from the league due to lack of participation. Coach McKinney failed post a lineup, but it didn't matter as the Boys from Texas came to town. Temp's deadly combo of Matt Stafford (37.08) and Adrian Peterson (36.3) were too much for McKinney. This one was over before it started as the Rednecks continue have depth, lineup, coaching, and general manager issues. Colt McCoy had 16.84 and TE Heath Miller added 15.5 in the losing effort. McKinney is currently on a four game losing skid and could come up short of a playoff berth. Temp is currently riding atop the Global and in command of winning the division outright.

Too much "O" for Whitmore, Pulverizers shine
Perdew Pulverizers 181.56 - Whitmore White Workhorse 140.76
Perdew Pulverizers 181.56 - Whitmore White Workhorse 140.76
First round draft pick LeSean McCoy came up big on Sunday night with a 39 point performance and put Whitmore to bed early. Michael Vick chipped in 33.06 along side McCoy and the Pulverizers cruise to victory. Whitmore was led with a balanced attack, however a dissapointing performance from QB Philip Rivers (11.96) sealed his fate. Running back M. Jones-Drew (17.2), and WR Eric Decker (19.2) were the best he had. The loss drops Whit to 4-5 and makes that fourth playoff spot in the Appalachian up for grabs. If the losing continues for Whit, Igama, and Fields, we could see the blackjack rule come into play and even Vial has a shot to get in. This could get interesting....
Runners glad to be back where they started it all
Rhodes Runners 144.18- Frost Furrious Flurries 110.84
The Rhodes Runners (6-3) beat the punch less Frost Furrious Flurries (1-8) and moved into a second place tie in the Global division. Once again defensive end Jarred Allen (19) was the difference while Frank Gore (23.5) and stud Calvin Johnson (24.5) did what they are supposed to do as first and second round picks. Not to be overlooked was the wonderful play of defensive back J. Byrd (19.5) in what has to be the best off season hiring in the league, Ryan Rhodes was secretly named the teams defensive coordinator and has single handily won four games for the Runners this season. "what was considered a training situation to develop Ryan into the future owner and coach of the Runners (no one lives forever you know) has turned out to be a training situation to me", coach Rhodes stated after the win. Meanwhile, the Flurries need a huge late season run for any hopes of reaching the playoffs via the Blackjack rule.
Kavanators roll over Ruskies in non divisional matchup
Kav's Kavanators 157.22- Zima Ruskies 105.46
The Zima Ruskies (3-6) layed an egg a week after earning team of the week honors and find themselves in a position of panic for a playoff spot in the Global. Coach Zima sent his second round pick of 2012 in exchange for running back Chris Johnson a few weeks ago and has got little to no return for it. It appears this team needs to win at least four of the final five games to have a chance at the real postseason tourney, but the Blackjack rule could be a savior. Meanwhile, the Kavanators (6-3) won their second straight game to solidify their playoff position. They were led by Derrick Johnson's Monday night defensive performance of 27.5 points. This team is in dire need of a quarterback and has two weeks to come up with one as the trade deadline is approaching.
Sweaty Palms slide past Fields in a tight one
Igama Sweaty Palms 135- Fields Fanatix 122
The Igama SP (4-5) pulled a shrewd move on Sunday evening that all but ensured a victory in week 8. With the Fields Fanatix (2-7) in need of a starting kicker, coach Igama dipped into the free agent pool and signed KC placekicker Ryan Succup. Succup posted 15 points, which would have given Fields 137 and a win. One of the greatest coaching moves of all time! The move eliminated any opportunity of coach Fields to acquire the only kicker remaining for the week, and locked a victory for the Sweaty Palms, a team that is really on the rise. "Anytime you can out coach a future hall of fame coach it feels good", stated Igama after the game.
Outcoach a future hall of famer! Damn big balls and a great move.
