Week 7 Vintage Conference Insider

We have reached the halfway point in the world renowned eSFL and all divisions are still up for grabs. As another week approaches, we are one step closer to the playoffs. This is an exciting time for some teams; however, for others, the season couldn’t end soon enough.

The matchups for this week are pathetic. By my calculation, 44% of the games this week are expected to be blowouts. If you were looking for an exciting week, I would advise that you visit your local brothel or pull out your VHS tape of Debby Does Dallas. Enough of the bloviating, let’s take a look that this week’s matchups:

Not much to say about this game other than the fact it makes up a portion of the aforementioned 44%. Frost will dominate this game. Hell, his bench could beat the Fanatix.

Final Score: Frost 232  Fields 141

The Runners come into this game leading their division by one game. On the other hand, the Crownholders are two games out. The Crownholders have a slight advantage on points scored. The Runners will need another good performance from Luck and Hilton to win this game and the defense needs to score at least 28 pts. I give the edge to the Crownholders by the narrowest of margins.

Final Score: Runners 189  Crownholders 189.7

The good thing for Temp is the fact that he plays the Money Team. Not much to talk about here. Another one of those games in the 44 percentile. Temp wins in a landslide.

Final Score: Temp 185  Money Team 123

Hmmmm……Do I really need to elaborate on this game? I will spare Kav further embarrassment by refraining to comment on his team.
Final Score: Bruisers  165  Kavanators  95

**Vintage Conference Game of the Week**

As of late, the Pulverizers have been on a mission to challenge for the top spot in the division. On the other side of the ball, the Ruskies are resting comfortable atop of their division. Not sure how this team has won five games, but that is a topic for another conversation. This game is going to come down to the performance of the WRs. Without AJ Green in the lineup, the Pulverizers need a strong showing from Hopkins.
The Thursday performance of Chris Ivory was a blessing for the Ruskies. I don’t think many people predicted that. Another stroke of luck lands in the lap of the Ruskies. They could be considered as the luckiest team in the league. Sorry Perdew, the luck continues this week.
Final Score: Pulverizers  178  Ruskies 183

  1. A few typos and poor use of grammar, but a nice piece
