At season kickoff these teams were considered on the opposite end of the spectrum as far as chances of success were considered. The Nachman MF (4-2) took over sole possession of the Quasar division with their fourth win in the past five weeks. The Standout Coalition (2-4) are on a downward spiral with injuries and to be honest, a pathetic roster. Coach Pardue stated his drive to improve this team has never been higher, however, there are limitations on how much one can shine a turd.

The Igama Sweaty Palms (4-2) took a two game Orion division lead as they held off the Helix division leading Houston Rams (4-2). The closest contest of the week was highlighted by the Houston Rams dominating on the defensive side of the ball but falling short of the more powerful offensive unit.

The Fields Fanatix broke a five game losing skid. The Kavs Kavanators extended their current one from four to five. I already wasted more time writing about this game then it is worth.
**These recaps were written prior to the completion Monday Night Football
What was billed as the weeks premier matchup turned out to be an all day battle that ended with Willie Young and two sacks. The Rhodes Runners (4-2), wore their throwback Boot Hill Balut get up and had a defense for the first time this season, nearly scoring half of what they had for the entire season in this one game. The Frost Furrious Flurries (4-2) entered the contest on a three game winning streak and looked to better their 7-11 all time record versus coach Rhodes. "Looks like Boot Hill Balut pulled the victory off, 190 points and we lose, great matchup and I do believe we meet again in the playoffs", he said after the game.

As the game came to a close the two Templin boy's gave congrats and condolences to one another as the Temp Texas Boys (3-3) held on to their playoff hopes in what was a must win situation. Coach Chaz of the Texan Bruisers (3-3) was noticeably upset with the loss and the loss of their wide receiver Victor Cruz for the season with a knee injury, "Well I am done and so is Cruz for the year, good game Matt, my defense cost me this game ". The Bruisers lost their second straight after a three game winning streak.

Recaps
The sci-fi thriller "Perdew Pulverizers are alive" debuted last week across the nation and coach Josh Perdew promoted it with a surprise visit to the BLACK WALNUT FESTIVAL in West Virginia Saturday evening. The Pulverizers (3-3) have risen from the dead with wonderful performances the past two weeks and the coach is not letting anyone forget the fact his team was all but counted out after week four, "We have the players, we have the staff, we have the experience, get off of it, we are not the walking dead folks", he said on eSFL Radio Sunday evening. Meanwhile the Wallies Texas Stars (2-4) struggles continue, a team that has had two good weeks and four bummers are holding on for their playoff lives.

If the Money Team (2-4) isn't the most pathetic fantasy football team ever assembled the world isn't flat. Somehow, the Money unit has won two games, a miracle in its own right, and somehow they likely will win the world championship because that is how fantasy football works. The defending champion Psycho Billiecats (3-3) somehow are at .500 and in the middle of a blackjack playoff opportunity in the Helix division. "we watched the scores hard this week", coach Klimko stated after the win. The league announced that coach Klimko was placed on season long probation for spamming the commissioners smart watch with scoring issues all day Sunday. "Anyone who mentions that their players did not get points for a play when the games are still active will be banned from participating in the league in future years", the commissioner announced.
