eSFL Final weeks-a fans perspective

eSFL 2011 PLAYOFF OUTLOOK/PREDICTIONS
By Ron Kav
Once upon a time in eSFL there were teams that nobody wanted to see their squads matched up against. Teams like the Field Fanatix, Pardue Brusiermakers, Mckinny Rednecks and Frost Flurries all were once feared squads. Boy have the tables turned. Its funny how these are teams people would rather play today other than previous scrubs like Rhodes Runners, Perdew Pulverizers, Kavs Kavanators, and even defending champ with a horseshoe in his ass Whitmore Workhorse. The 2011 playoffs should lead to some new and up and coming powerhouses in eSFL and I just want to drop my playoff predictions now for accuracy when the real deal comes along.

In the global division I see Rhodes Runners winning the division after a week 13 upset on Temps Texas Boys. Both teams will make the playoffs and I see Terry taking his own advice and playing Temp back to back as he will be the toughest global opponent as we start the playoffs. The week 14 matchup will be a good one as I see the Runners squeezing it out over Temp 141-136 and Rhodes will advance to the Global conf. championships. On the other side of the global I see Zima Ruskies sneaking in over Pardue where they will matchup well with D crownholder. Though D Crown is tough, Zima will shock the world and also advance to the conference championships after sneaking his way into the playoffs as the 4th seed
and upsets D crown 155-140.

In the Appalachian division I see Texan Bruisers winning the divison one game over Perdew Pulverizers. With the playoff matchup in his hands I have Bruisers selecting to play Kavs Kavanators in round 1. Though it will be a close game as most playoff games are Bruisers will have picked their posion correctly as the Kavanators will upset the Bruisers 143-138. As far as the other half I got Perdew Pulverizers playing Igama Sweaty Palms. Igama will come into the playoffs as the hottest team in eSFL and will beat the leagues juggernaut 154-144. Making it a Kavanators vs Sweaty Plams conference championship.

In the Global conference championships its gonna be a good one, but with 2 QBs to choose from in the QB by committee style Rhodes Runners have brought upon themselves the runners will make the bad decision and start Josh Freeman. This will be the death of them in the 2011 playoffs as Zima will capitalize on the mistake and make the 2011 eSFL Ballistic Bowl 154-136.

As far as the Appalachian division, Kavs Kavanators will have his WR core back up and running but it just wont be enough to keep up with the Igama Sweaty Palms and the luck teams get from being a first year squad in eSFL. Though playing previously in eSFL in the past with the time off I like to consider them a first year squad due to the changes and increase in power of the league since he played last. Igama crushes the quaterbackless Kavanators 176-138 and move on to their first ever Ballistic Bowl.

Ballistic Bowl 2011 is going to be a good one between Igama and Zima. Two powerhouses that started slow but finished strong will give us a show to talk about for the ages. I have Igama putting up a big fight but it just wont be enough as Zima will turn on the heat with the mid season acquisition Chris Johnson and his forfeit of his 2012 2nd round draft pick wont look like such a bad idea any more.

Again this is all opinionated by the Kavs Kavanators head coach Ron Kavanaugh and no outside affiliations were used in this prediction. This article and all predictions are also copy righted by Kavs Kavantors!

Zima will cruise to victory 179-155 and be crowned the 2011 eSFL champion.
