Studs and Duds

I had some time on my hands and I decided to put together a new article titled "Studs and Duds".  This could be a combination of sports, news or whatever.  Provide feedback if you would like and let me know if you would like to see more of this type of material.
Studs:

Veterans - Today is Veterans Day.  Thanks for all that you guys/gals do for this great country!

Joe Frazier - Boxing legend, died this past week after a battle with cancer.  Inducted into the Boxing HoF and listed as one of the top ten greatest heavyweight fighters of all time.  He was a champion of champions and will be missed...

Vial Vigilante - Coming off their first win of the season by defeating the defending chumps Whitmore, Vial gets to feast on the banged up Fields Fanatix.  Two in a row for Vial equals a winning streak, something this squad hasn't seen in two plus years.

Rhodes Runners - Winning four of their last five, and a matchup versus Igama, which he has the check mark at every position against him except Foster, I think Gore does enough to keep pace and Rhodes is quietly sneaking up to contend for the Global regular season title.  This team has potential, and most are overlooking him.

Temp's Texas Boys - Coming off a big loss, this is called a bounce back week for the Boy's.  Temp gets back his studs from bye weeks and has a favorable matchup vs DCrown without a stud RB.  Look for the boys to stay atop the division after this week.

Pardue Bruisermakers - What better way to regain confidence after a huge loss to the Ruskies?  Pound the shit out of Frost!  Frost has no chance in this match, and Pardue will move into a playoff spot after this victory.

Kav's Kavanators - Holding down a playoff spot at the moment, Kav can regain some momentum by getting his trio of WR healthy and producing enough to win this week against the division leader and rival Pulverizers. The matchups are close, but Kav's WR will lead him to victory.

Philadelphia Eagles - After losing a must-win at home last week to the Bears, Philly gets Arizona and one of the leagues worst defenses this week.  The fans will be ready to lynch Vick if he lets this game slip away.  I don't see that happening, and the Eagles rout the Cardinals at home.

Green Bay Packers - At home, Monday night, Prime Time, vs the Vikings!  The goal is to slow down AP, which is the only thing needed to contain the Vikings offense and make sure you know where Jared Allen is at all times.  Green Bay should have a field day with the Vikings secondary and this one is over before it starts.

Chris Johnson - You face one of the worst run defenses in the league this week....You better show off, or take your ass to the bench and watch Javon Ringer take your job!

Maurice Jones-Drew - Take a look at this guys numbers versus Indy all time, sickening!  Never trust a player with a hyphen in his name....Except this guy!  He will be the highest scoring RB this week in fantasy.   In 10 career games against the Colts, he has had five 100-yard rushing games and 929 yards total with eight rushing TDs. He has a career 5.2 rushing average against the Colts.

Stanford - Andrew Luck controls the destiny of this team.  If they win out, which they should, and beat Oregon, they will play for the national title.  Oh yea, I forgot to mention the "Suck for Luck" campaign in the NFL.  Everyone wants this guy!

Tiger Woods - Leading in Australia after two rounds!?!? Welcome back the best golfer the world has ever seen.  Never count out the guy that changed the game of golf, even if his personal life is a living hell.

UNC - The tarheels are preseason #1 for the upcoming college basketball season.

March Madness - Even in November, I can honestly say that the March Madness NCAA Basketball tournament is the greatest sporting event of the year, every year!

M&M Company / Nascar Sponsor - I loved to hear that the company has bailed out on Nascar driver Kyle Busch.  He is a punk, and doesn't know how to drive a race car.  He is selfish and needs his ass kicked weekly by every other driver on the circuit.

Louisville, CO - Money Magazine named it the 2011 best place to live.  I know most of you don't care about this shit....Its just for laughs!

Duds:

Fields Fanatix - I have to list this pathetic excuse for a fantasy football team in the dud section probably for the rest of the year.  This is by far the worst team I have ever seen Coach Fields put on the field thus far.  No doubt that this fella will make the HoF in the next few years with his accomplishments, but leaving them off this list would be a crime.

Whitmore Workhorse - Defending Champs in the eSFL, the greatest fantasy league ever, have found themselves in a huge hole and in jeopardy of not making the playoffs this season.  The workhorse teams of past have looked about the same, but have somehow found ways to win.  Not to mention this guy has a horseshoe for luck, (not Andrew), but the Workhorse are slowly on the decline and even gave the Vigilante team their first win of the year.  Nothing good is coming from the workhorse these days....

McKinney Rednecks - Thank god you posted a lineup this week coach!  Things have went downhill for the Rednecks and the owner seems to have lost all interest in the league.  I don't wish for anyone but the Collusionators(j/k Kav) to be removed from the league, but if this shit continues, its the only option.  Cmon MAN!

Arizona Cardinals - See "Philadelphia Eagles" under the Stud section: This team has had QB issues along with pathetic defense for the last 3 seasons.  Maybe they should try to pull the "Suck for Luck".  Or better yet, go get some defense and hope "Corn on the Kolb" or "Skelator" works out for you.  Your in the worst division in football, you should win that garbage division every year!

Washington Redskins - Grossman or Beck?!?!?!?! Get your shit together Redskin organization.  WTF are you trading down and not taking a solid QB in the draft?  These two schmucks suck balls and everyone knows it.  A fairly talented defense and some weapons on offense, but no leader.  Get it together Dan Snyder!

Cam Newton - The Titans defensive secondary is tough if you haven't seen the films yet Cam.  This could be a disaster for you this week when Johnson runs all over your defense and you find yourself behind early.  I hope you make it out of this game in one piece big guy!

Indianapolis Colts Defense - See "Maurice Jones-Drew" in the Stud section:  enough said!

NBA - The lockout has surpassed 130+ days and negotiations are continuing.  Although most of these guys are overpaid as it is, I occasionally like to watch a NBA game from time to time.  Its a sport I love, and would rather them settle a deal, have a short season, and get back to work.  Its wasting air time on Sportscenter and taking valuable space in the newspapers I like to read.

Joe Paterno / Penn State - In an ugly sex scandal, Jo Pa has been fired, after giving nearly 3/4 of his life to the university.  A nearly spotless career for JoPa will end with an ugly scar.  With so many high moments in his lifetime at Penn State, he has hit rock bottom.

Does anybody like this garbage?  Provide feedback either way!
