week 10 Recaps-2009

D Crownholders squeaked by a never say die Boot Hill Balut team by a score of 173.2 to 157.5, behind the support of 73,096 faithful fans.
D Crownholders were led to their 15.10 point victory by a 48.80 point effort from Chris Johnson, who beat the Buffalo Bills defense for 132 rushing yards and 2 rushing TDs in addition to 100 receiving yards. With this performance, Johnson was the number 1 ranked overall fantasy scorer for week 10. They also got help from a 40.50 point effort from Tom Brady, who tore apart the Indianapolis Colts defense for 375 passing yards and 3 passing TDs in addition to 3 rushing yards.

"We're going to use this win as a building block for the playoffs," D Crownholders coach Jordan Kizima said.

Boot Hill was helped out in a losing cause by a 37.75 point effort from Donovan McNabb, who tore apart the San Diego Chargers defense for 450 passing yards and 2 passing TDs. With this performance, McNabb was the number 5 ranked overall fantasy scorer for week 10. They also got help from a 26.00 point effort from Frank Gore, who beat the Chicago Bears defense for 104 rushing yards and 1 rushing TD in addition to 21 receiving yards.

"We didn't maintain the intensity for the entire weekend and once again was one good player away," Boot Hill Balut coach T. Rhodes said.

Adding salt to the wound, Boot Hill could have scored 183.75 points and earned the win with their best lineup, but T. Rhodes left key players like Knowshon Moreno and his corresponding 14.20 points on the bench.

This brings the record for D Crownholders to 6-4 and in second place in the Global division, and drops Boot Hill Balut to a record of 1-9. Boot Hill was eliminated from playoff contention with the loss.

Coming up in week 11, the 7-3 Temp's Texas Boy's are at Boot Hill Balut, where Boot Hill Balut are an early 14.8-point underdog, while D Crownholders are at the 4-6 Zima Ruskies, where Zima Ruskies are an early 21.8-point underdog.

 Temp's Texas Boy's beat a fading Frost Furrious Flurries team by a score of 161.92 to 124.52, behind the support of 74,609 faithful fans.


Temp's Texas Boy's were led to their 38.00 point victory by a 28.50 point effort from Charles Woodson, who beat the Dallas Cowboys offense for 8 tackles and 1 interception. With this performance, Woodson was the number 1 ranked defensive cornerback for week 10. They also got help from a 20.30 point effort from Larry Fitzgerald, who snuck past the Seattle Seahawks defense for 73 receiving yards and 1 receiving TD.
The Flurries are trying to hang onto the final Global division playoff spot with a one game lead over the charging Ruskies.
"We're not going to rest on our laurels," Temp's Texas Boy's coach Mathew Templin said.

Frost Furrious Flurries were helped out in a losing cause by a 22.80 point effort from Joseph Addai, who snuck past the New England Patriots defense for 41 rushing yards and 1 rushing TD in addition to 27 receiving yards. They also got help from a 21.32 point effort from Drew Brees, who got by the St. Louis Rams defense for 223 passing yards and 2 passing TDs.

"Turnovers killed us," Frost Furrious Flurries coach Jeff Frost said.

Compounding the issue, Frost Furrious Flurries could have scored 172.82 points and earned the win with their best lineup, but Jeff Frost left key players like Chris Wells and his corresponding 29.30 points on the bench.

This brings the record for Temp's Texas Boy's to 7-3, and drops Frost Furrious Flurries to a record of 5-5.

Coming up in week 11, Temp's Texas Boy's are at the 1-9 Boot Hill Balut, where Boot Hill Balut are an early 14.8-point underdog, while the 6-4 Pardue Bruisermakers are at Frost Furrious Flurries, where Frost Furrious Flurries are an early 7.7-point underdog.


Zima Ruskies beat a relaxed Pardue Bruisermakers team by a score of 152 to 115.44, behind the support of 72,674 faithful fans.

With this performance, Peterson was the number 6 ranked running back for week 10. They also got help from a 16.80 point effort from Roddy White, who got by the Carolina Panthers defense for 98 receiving yards.

"The final score is the only statistic that matters, we will see where we are at seasons end" Pardue Bruisermakers coach Ron Pardue said.

Causing further embarrassment, Pardue Bruisermakers could have scored 157.44 points and earned the win with their best lineup, but Ron Pardue left key players like David Garrard and his corresponding 25.04 points on the bench.

Zima Ruskies took advantage of their schedule this week, as their point total would have gone for a loss against 7 out of 10 other potential opponents in week 10.

This brings the record for Zima Ruskies to 4-6, and drops Pardue Bruisermakers to a record of 6-4.

Coming up in week 11, the 6-4 D Crownholders are at Zima Ruskies, where Zima Ruskies are an early 21.8-point underdog, while Pardue Bruisermakers are at the 5-5 Frost Furrious Flurries, where Frost Furrious Flurries are an early 7.7-point underdog.

With this performance, Manning was the number 2 ranked overall fantasy scorer for week 10. They also got help from a 25.50 point effort from T.J. Houshmandzadeh, who beat the Arizona Cardinals defense for 165 receiving yards.

"Our defense was a non-factor, if Fields thinks they will progress through the playoffs they are wrong" Whitmore Workhorse coach Whitmore said.

Compounding the issue, Whitmore Workhorse could have scored 182.38 points and earned the win with their best lineup, but Whitmore left key players like Kellen Winslow and his corresponding 17.20 points on the bench.

This brings the record for Fields Fanatix to 6-4, and drops Whitmore Workhorse to a record of 7-3.

Coming up in week 11, Whitmore Workhorse are at the 3-7 Perdew Pulverizers, where Perdew Pulverizers are an early 22.7-point favorite, while the 3-7 Kav's Kavanators are at Fields Fanatix, where Fields Fanatix are an early 59.4-point favorite.

Kav's Kavanators embarrassed a hapless Texan Bruisers team by a score of 153.14 to 98.42, silencing a partisan crowd of 73,406.

They also got help from a 13.00 point effort from Dan Carpenter, who snuck past the Tampa Bay Buccaneers defense for 4 field goals made and 1 extra point.

"They've had our number all season," Texan Bruisers coach Chaz Templin said.

Kav's Kavanators took advantage of their schedule this week, as their point total would have gone for a loss against 8 out of 10 other potential opponents in week 10.

This brings the record for Kav's Kavanators to 3-7, and drops Texan Bruisers to a record of 6-4.

Big D beat a tough luck Perdew Pulverizers team by a score of 174.86 to 154.38, behind the support of 70,845 faithful fans.
Big D were led to their 18.73 point victory by a 28.36 point effort from Aaron Rodgers, who snuck past the Dallas Cowboys defense for 189 passing yards and 1 passing TD in addition to 15 rushing yards. With this performance, Marshall was the number 3 ranked wide receiver for week 10. They also got help from a 25.90 point effort from Maurice Jones-Drew, who beat the New York Jets defense for 123 rushing yards and 1 rushing TD in addition to 22 receiving yards.

"It's been a pathetic season, great example of bad luck," Perdew Pulverizers coach Josh Perdew said.
