 Balut Equal Last Seasons Loss Total

The Boot Hill Balut lost their third straight game of the season and matched the entire total of 2008 with three. The Temp Texas Boy's were led by tight end Brent Celek with  24.4 points and move to a 2-1 record. The losing Balut got a total of 5.5 points from two running backs and newly acquired quarterback Byron Leftwich added -1.1 before being benched. The teams number on running back Frank Gore left the game after only one carry with an injured ankle and did not return. He is listed as out for three weeks. "Well, we are in a bad position, no doubt. our season is most likely over before it started", said head coach T. Rhodes.

Fanatix hang on for win 
The Fields Fanatix held on Monday night to beat the Kavanators and move to a 2-1 record. The Kavanators were looking for big  things from recently acquired running back Felix Jones, but it didn't materialize as he left the game early in the third quarter with a knee sprain. "Shoulda known, Felix was on the Balut team, they all suck or will be injured", head coach Ron Kavanaugh stated. Randy Moss and Joe Flacco led the Fanatix team with 20+ points each. Linebacker Thomas Davis chipped in a deciding 11.5.

MFIC Beat Flurries 
The Pardue Bruisermakers moved to a 3-0 record and sent the Frost Furrious Flurries to their first defeat of the season. The team was led by surprise starter at quarterback David Gerrard and tight end Dallas Clark, each post 20 points plus.For the Flurries, quarterback Drew Brees was sent back to reality with a measly 7.4 points, meaning wideout Marquis Colston had to follow, he had a season low 10.7 points.

Pulverizer Pull Puds 
The Perdew Pulverizers lose their third straight game even though they they are fith in the league in scoring. After two straight disappointing nail biter losses the team was unable to overcome the outstanding play of Peyton Manning's 45 points.  "We simply gotta have faith, we are putting up the numbers but just hav not put up any in the area we want, the win column", owner Josh Perdew said.

Ruskies win with third lowest weekly points 
In contrast to the Pulverizers, the Zima Ruskies won despite scoring only 115 points. The team was led by Eli Manning and Jason Whitten and get their first win of the season. The Crownholders posted their lowest score of the young season with a pathetic 77.28 and were dealt their first loss of the season. "We have had it pretty good thus far, gonna have a bad one every once in a while", Jordan Kizima said.

Big D Moves to 2-1 
The Vial Big D team beat the expansion Texan Bruisers and moved to a 2-1 record. They were led by QB Aaron Rodgers and WR S. Moss, both posting an excess of 30 points. Before the game head coach Joel vial promised his fan base a win, and a bust out game by running back Matt Forte. His promise was fulfilled as Forte poste 18.7 and his team sent the bruisers to another disappointing loss.
