Big D 140.84 Perdew 133.9
Pulverizers lose close one again
With both teams struggling to produce a standout performance wide receiver Steve Smith and quarterback Aaron Rodgers stood up and posted 21.1 and 23.4 respectively to lead the Big D club to their first win of the season. Pulverizer fans were watching with enthusiasm in hopes of Dwight Freeney to pick up a late sack, but it didn't happen. This game was a perfect example of what every owner wishes for each and every week, steady performance from all starters. If these teams continue this play they will be in the hunt at seasons end.
Whitmore 145.12 Fanatix 101.48
Workehorse move to 2-0
The Whitmore White Workhorse moved to 2-0 as they beat the hapless Fields Fanatix in a game that was over by halftime of the early NFL games. Witnore's Peyton Manning posted 28.82 points even though he was barely on the field and wide receiver Donald Driver added 21.9 with six catches and a score. The Fanatix were led by tight end Tony Gonzalez with 20.1 while the rest of the team demonstrated how a team can go from top dog to gutterdawg in one week.
Texan 157.38 Kav 104.64
Texan wins first eSFL game
The Texan Bruisers made the win column for the first time in the teams history with a steady performance while the Kavanators looked disinterested and disabled. Matt Schaub and Darren Sproles 48.08 and 29 points respectively, winning the game even though two starters failed to score a single point. The Kavanators were led by quarterback Phillip Rivers with 30.84 while the remaing players seemed as though it was the last game of the year and they had nothing to compete for.
Crownholder 189.74 Balut 156.98
Crownholder send Balut to 0-2
The Crownholder's got a record setting performance from RB Chris Johnson with 59 points and wide receiver Vincent Jackson posted 26.1 to hold off the Balut. The Balut's Frank Gore showed grit and determination with a 45.2 game, and wideout Andre Johnson added 36.9 of his own, but it proved to little as their teammates stepped on their peckers all day. The Crownholders moved to 2-0 in a first place tie in the Global Division.
Temp 193.1 Frost 150.14
Both teams move to 1-1
The Frost Flurries posted their second straight big week in the young season but fell short as the Temp Texas Boys overcame a slow start and rebounded with a win. DB Charles Woodson led the team with 35.5 points and QB Carson Palmer looked good with a 31.7. The Flurries Drew Brees once again played awesome and scored 34.54 and NFL teammate M. Colston threw in 29.8 for the win. "it's great, until Brees has a bad game and his big time hot shot wideout will be included", stated opponent head coach Matt Templin.
Pardue 193.8 Zima 126.62
MFIC lands a whopper
This was a game of two teams heading in opposite directions. The Zima Ruskies posted their second straight week of poor scoring while the Bruisermakers pulled the opposite feat. The Bruisermakers were led by Matt Ryan and Dallas Clark with 31.5 and 31.3 points respectively. "That ass whoopin was for submitting all those stupid trade offers to me, get lost loser", head coach Ron Pardue stated after the game.
In the week two's onslaught, the Bruisermakers crept aboard a plow going to Zima and were never slowed. Defeated, hapless and very upset, the Ruskies decide to poke fun at Matt Ryan and Dallas Clark. The fun and games stopped when head coach Jesse Kizima realized a huge 193.8 was posted on his ass. Kizima got in, couldn't get out, unaware, until the Bruisermakers had already began to strike.
But there is more to this young head coach than meets the eye. With a measly 126.62 this week, the Ruskies still think they can catch the boat to the Ballistic Bowl. With a simple but yet ingenious trade, the balance of power will take an unexpected twist and many opponents will be beaten.
