Reg Season: 2012
1-1
All Time:
Pardue leads 7-5
Playoffs:
1-1
The Pardue Bruisermakers make their third straight appearance in the Global Division title game against the rising Zima Ruskies. This division championship isn't like the past two for Pardue, as it will only get them into the conference title game rather than the Ballistic Bowl, but we doubt that makes it any less stressfull for the MFIC. Zima on the other hand, is looking for their second Ballistic Bowl birth and first since 2004.
The game will start as almost all others have in the eSFL this season, with a lineup of 12 for each team. The difference in this one is that Pardue's "piece of 12" is more valuable at the bottom end, the defense. Zima must show a more competitive score in this area if his team has any hopes of a victory. Zima has the offense, Pardue has the defense, what's the old saying, defense wins championships?
Pardue is ranked 123 in the world, good for second in the eSFL. Zima started slow and ranks only 8072, 17th in the eSFL. Do not be fooled by these rankings however, as one should be able to see from the chart above, the Ruskies are a force to be dealt with on the offensive side and can single handedly eliminate an opponent using this area of his lineup. We don't see Pardue with the capability of overpowering anyone with a designated position in his lineup, just plain and simple across the board steady play has gotten it done for them.
