Reg Season: 2012
Perdew 2-0
All Time:
Perdew leads 5-3
Playoffs:
First Meeting
This playoff matchup is the leagues Blackjack rule implementation ruler, a device used to demonstrate why some teams just don't belong and why others do. Granted, neither of these teams are a Blackjack qualifier, but the Perdew team could have easily been so. Perdew has posted around 350 more points than the Bruisers on the season, to include last weeks playoff round. That averages to be something like 27 points per week more than the Bruisers have posted, a large number. If these teams were to play one another 100 times Perdew would win 97 of those games, the good news for the Texan Bruisers is they only have to play once, and win once, a feat that is possible considering how fantasy football is like playing the lottery, all luck.
The chart above tells us, well, nothing remarkeable. The Bruisers have a much better defense than the Pulverizers, and the Pulverizers don't care. With wide receivers and running backs near the top of all stats, the Perdew team looks to be a big favorite here. Take not of the fact that 15 percent of the Bruisers points are from their linebackers, a position to watch this week. If the Bruisers can double that 15 percent, and his opponent Perdew falls flat on his ass, the Bruisers have a chance.
