Week 9 Recaps-2012

2012 Week 9
RECAP
Historical
Info by TRhodes

NEWS
This weeks games likely will be looked back upon as pivitol ones in the seasons final outcome. Some thoughts:
It appears the defending champion Igama Sweaty Palms have began to play as if they wanted to repeat, four straight
weeks of very impressive performances.
Running back Doug Martin broke the eSFL most points scored in a week with 61.7.
It appears as though the Runners season is done, losing both running backs (MJD and D. Sproles) and having traded his
1st round pick away (Johnson for MJD).
The Pardue team has finally realized they are not as good as their once 7-0 record would have suggested.
The Perdew team lost it's fourth straight but still are in solid position for a playoff birth.
The Zima club is making another late season run, something they have done every year except 2004, the only year they had anything to show for their effort.
Crownholder haters, where are they now? There was a time this season in which bashing the 'holders and labeling them as one of the leagues worst team was in vogue.
Haven't heard from many naysayers lately as the team is now at 7-3, one game behind Perdew in the Global.

Zima moved into a tie for the Global division second wildcard seed.

Calvin Johnson finally payed off for the Ruskies who once again are making a
mad dash for the playoffs. Frost look as though a Gunner Cup title
wouldl be the teams highest accomplishment this season.

What turned out to be the Chaz Temp Bowl, the Runners somehow swept the Temp's Texas Boy's in season matchups despite scoring only 119 points this week. Pathetic.

able to match the Igama Sweaty Palms' 200 plus. The Palms are a team on

What once appeared to be one of B.G. Fields' best teams now looks like a
Gunner Cup turd. The Fanatix lost their third in a row and have failed
to score more than 132 for four straight weeks. Whitmore broke a three
game losing streak but the wins are not this teams primary concern any
longer. Points fielded will likely be the only way the ponies can
qualify for the playoffs, currently Perdew holds a slight edge for the
final spot.

West Virginia lost this game but are in a wonderful position for the final wild card in the Orion division. Wallie's Texas Stars have a big hill to climb despite this win. The Stars are in a must win out situation to qualify for the playoffs
because the Venom would likely take a Blackjack if it came to that
scenario.

12-8 wasn't exactly a correct prediction on this one, but the results are
the same. With the Perdew Pulverizers fourth straight loss it looks
like Josh Perdew's best chance at a 2012 playoff birth is his Crazy
Daizy team.

Leave it to Joel Viall to find a way to take the best team in a division and
lose.
The Orange Crush implemented and executed a flawless game plane to beat
the Coalition, a 100 percent coaching efficiency. Viall, you suck. And
no, Avery would not have won the game for you, do your math.
