Week 10 Recap-2012

Week 10 in the eSFL brought more questions rather than giving answers.
It's going to be a wild finish that most all teams should have a chance
to make the playoffs. Remember, the fourth playoff team in each
division must have a .500 or better record. If no team has that, then
the playoff spot is awarded to the non playoff qualifed team in the
division with the most points fielded on the season..
The deadline for paying transaction fees is 22 Nov 2012.  If
you do not make payment you will not be eligible for postseason.
Postseason is the playoffs and the Gunner Cup.
The Gunner Cup will be a tournament consisting of all teams in the
league. Therefore, even if you did not make the playoffs you will still
be entered into the Gunner Cup with a chance to win $262.00.

Week 10, 2012VINTAGE CONFERENCE INSIDER

Vs  FINAL- Zima-184.34 Pardue-132.3 Pardue lost their third straight game, but they clinched a playoff spot weeks ago. The only thing this team has to play for in the final two weeks is the division title.The Ruskies are now one win away from a playoff spot. Their win in week 10 give them a one game lead on Rhodes for the third wildcard and are all but assured a spot in the playoffs based on points fielded if the blackjack rule is required.  Vs  FINAL- Crownholder-157.82 Texas Boy's-150.56 The Crownholder took over sole possesion of the Global division first place position and head toward the postseason as one of the leagues hottest teams.The Temp's Texas Boy's lost their second straight and fall to 4-7 to mark only the second time in team history they finished with losing record (2007). The loss has little effect on the Boy's playoff hopes as they are the leading canidate for the final wildcard in the division (blackjack). This team does not need to win another game to make the playoffs and their fate is in the hands of the Runners.  Vs  FINAL- Frost-180.36 Runners-133.78 Frost Furrious Flurries kept their playoff hopes alive, but for them to qualify would take a miracle still yet.The Rhodes Runners lost for the first time in four weeks and are now in a must win out situation to make the playoffs.  Vs  FINAL- Texan-163.24 Viall-162.88 This game is still under review but it appears the Texan Bruisers have all but clinched a playoff spot with a win. Seven wins in the division still might fall short however.  Vs  FINAL- Igama-136.22 Fields-116.1 The Igama Sweaty Palms won their fourth game in a row and are in the middle of the playoff hunt and even a chance at the division title.The Fanatix struggles continued with a fourth straight loss. The good news for them is that the division crown and all playoff spots are still within reach.  Vs  FINAL- Perdew-142.84 Whitmore-133.46 Perdew won for the first time in a month in a game that ownership considered a must win if they were to get a second wildcard seed.Whitmore drops into last place in the Appalachian but are still very much alive for the playoffs as a second wildcard or blackjack.   vs PREDICTION: Wallies Stars 146 Kavs 145 Final- Wallies 189.56     Kav 155.08 The Texas Stars won their second straight and are in a tie with the Orange Crush for the second wildcard in the division. The team also could make the playoffs via blackjack but with only 1541 points it is unlikely.The Nators season ended after week six's loss, their sixth straight.   VS PREDICTION: Brady’s 178 Crush 158 Final- Bunch 163.94     Crush 137.48 Brady Bunch has all but locked up the top spot in the division as they hold most all tiebreakers with the Coalition.The Crush and Texas Stars are tied for the second wild card, with tiebreakers for the spot belonging to the Stars (head to head). However, if the spot becomes a three way tie than the Crush are in the best position with the best division record. Just wait and see. VS PREDICTION: Standout 180 Venom 140 Final- Venom 181.34     Coalition 125.82 West Virginia moved within one game of the second wild card and also took the lead in blackjack points if it were to come down to a third wildcard spot.The Coalition lost for the second straight week and failed to exceed 130 in both. VS PREDICTION: Brownskins 165 Meatsytx 160 Final- Miami 148.42     McKevitt 119.5 Miami clinched the division title.Meatstyx remain in the race for the third wildcard only 47 points behind the Daisy's. VS PREDICTION: Money Team 189 Crazy Daiz 180 Final- Flish's 152.38     Money 137.86 Flish moved within a game of Money for the second wildcard and has a 47 point hold over McKevitt for the third wildcard.Money Team is all but locked in for the playoffs with points fielded, one win gurantees it as well. VS PREDICTION: Klimko 154  Pollacks 142 Final- Pollacks 176.64     K's 152.9 Can the Pollacks get any love? They clinched a playoff spot and are the most undervalued team in the league.The K's only have one chance left, the Gunner Cup (if they pay their transaction fees).
