2010 Gunner Cup Details

The 2010 Gunner Cup will no doubt be a unique experience. All non-playoff qualifers as well as playoff game losers will have an opportunity to win their entry fee back. Below is the layout:

All teams who did not qualify for the eSFL playoffs and losing playoff teams will meet for an opportunity to win the Gunner Cup.

In week 14, the six non playoff teams will be seeded by drawing and meet head to head.

Of these 3 winners only the two with the highest points achieved in a WIN for that week will advance to week 15.

The 4 losers of each division first round eSFL playoff games will enter the Gunner Cup in week 15. Thus 6 teams will compete in week 15 of the Gunner Cup. Of these six teams, only two teams will advance to week 16. The two teams with the highest points achieved in a WIN will advance to week 16.
Joining this group into week 16 will be the 2 losing eSFL playoff teams from the division championships. This will make the Gunner Cup week 16 consist of 4 teams.
These four teams will meet in week 16 with the winners advancing to week 17 for the Gunner Cup title.

Seeding will always be based on points scored the previous week.

The team with the highest points scored in week 17 will be named the champion.

The Gunner Cup champion will receive $110.00.

The Ballistic Bowl Loser is not eligible for the Gunner Cup.

IMPORTANT DRAFT SETTINGS

IMPORTANT TOPIC!

Draft settings!

The Perdew team has legally claimed RB L. McCoy. Meaning he cannot be drafted by any other team this year. Meaning, if for any reason you do not make your pick and the computer picks for you, they could illegally draft McCoy. To prevent this I recommend each owner move McCoy to the bottom of the list in the ranking list on the draft site. To do this:

1. Log into ESPN draft site

2. Click on `my team`

3. Click on `Edit Pre-draft player rankings`

4. Find McCoy (37 or about default)

5. click the little down arrow in column one

6. go up and click on `Save Rankings`

If your team selects McCoy you basically have wasted a draft pick.

I will remove him from your roster after the draft. You will not be compensated.
