LISTEN TO IT.................

Week
6 in the ESFL has arrived and there are teams that have begun to
separate themselves from the pack and others that have hit rock bottom.
The non-conference games of Week 6 could prove to be an important game
as teams try to position themselves to remain the playoff hunt. On the
other hand, there are teams like the Kavanators and the Flurries that
are just trying to earn respect. Let’s all be honest here….these teams
are brutal! If you are looking for respect, I would advise when you wake
up on Sunday morning that you head to church instead of going to the
local pub to watch the games.
I’m sure the congregation of the
church will tell you how much you are adored in the eyes of the
“beholder”. However, your friends at the local pub will laugh in your
damn face when you talk about the pathetic fantasy football teams you
have assembled. Going to church may be the best advice I could give
these teams, as a miracle is the only thing likely to save them.
Enough about that….let’s take a look at the matchups for week 6. (By
Bruce Fields)

Game Notes |
Temp's Texas Boy's and coach Viall are tied at 1-1 in all-time regular season matchups. Some
analysts rank this Viall team among the best in his short franchise
history. However, he looks to be back to his old ways by coming into
this game with a 2-4 record. The team is loaded with talent, but have
drawn the short end of the stick on many occasions. For example,
theVigilante would have beaten 16 other teams last week. Thus far this
season, Temp has considered his team a huge disappointment. I would
categorize them as a disappointment, but more like what we all expected.
Julio Jones and McCoy have had flashes of greatness, but Temp is
struggling at the QB position.
PREDICTION: Vial 164-Temp 132 |

Game Notes |
All-time regular season series tied at 1-1.Whitmore
is in a dogfight! I believe he has a better team than is record
represents. He is a former champion and understands what it takes towin
week in and week out. He has a team that I believe could make a deep run
in the playoffs. This week Whit must get big performances from Ray
Rice and Steve Johnson to have a chance of winning. Zima has made some
recent acquisitions that have positioned the team to contend for a
playoff spot. Led by All-World WR Calvin Johnson, this team could make a
late run in the season and surprise a lot of teams. This week he will
need a big game from Johnson.
Prediction: Whitmore 142 – Zima 152 |

Game Notes |
Fields is 6-4 all-time versus Rhodes in regular season matchups. This
game is filled with history! These teams have a history beating the
hell out of each other. Over the last 10 years, The Fanatix have a one
game advantage over the Runners. Nonetheless, this Runners team is
hungry and they are running out of time. Picture this.....a starving
child in New Guinea standing in line at a buffet only to see Josh Perdew
standing at the front of the line. The Runners don’t have a fighting
chance of making the playoffs this year, but they will beat the Fanatix
this week.
Prediciton: Runners 142 – Fanatix 131

7 | Defensive Line Pts | 2 |
19 | Defensive Back Pts | 7 |
18 | Linebacker Pts | 17 |
Game Notes |
Pardue has beaten Perdew in the teams only two previous regular season meetings. Perdew
is coming off of a week where he took down the unbeaten Texan Bruisers.
This week, he is looking to repeat that same performance. Reggie Wayne
has found his niche’ with rookie QB Andrew Luck and he is hitting on all
cylinders. Additionally, Perdew has arguably the best RB in the league
in Arian Foster. Aside from his undefeated record, Pardue has a solid
team that will undoubtedly make the playoffs. Last week he beat the
Texas Boys with ease. However, he faces a tougher opponent this week.
Pardue needs to have big production from his WR corps if he wants to win
this game.
Prediction: Perdew 158- Pardue 163

Game Notes |
Crownholder are 1-0 lifetime against the Bruisers in regular season play.D?
Did someone say deez nuts? According to sources, the GM of the
Crownholders made a statement that the Texan Bruisers could eat deez
nuts. Aside from the shit talk, the Crownholders come into this game
with a 4-2 record and look to take down the Bruisers. The Crownholders
will be led by their defense this week. Expect a huge game from JPP.
The Bruisers had their chain rattled last week as they fell from the
ranks of the unbeaten. However, I expect the team to bounce back and
put up big numbers this week. Matt Ryan has played extremely well this
year and that will continue this week. Look for this team to be led by
“Matty Ice” and Fitzgerald.
Prediciton: D 167 – Bruisers 178

Game Notes |
First ever matchup.
The
Brady Bunch bounced back with a win following their first loss in week
four. The lowest this team has scored thus far this season is 149, a
good thing for the Bunch but possibly bad news when playoff time rolls
around. You know the saying, don't bust all your nuts to quickly, right,
ok,.... The Meatstyx somehow have two wins but will not get one this
week, remember it's fantasy football folks, so don't get all upset about
it.

Game Notes |
Never played one another before.The
Coalition looks like a serious playoff contender while the K's have
looked like proffessional pecker steppers thus far. However, the K's
have a solid unit this week and Charles, Vick, Mathews, and Julio Jones
will be way to much for the Coalition as long as they have Russel
Wilson and Alphonso Smith filling in for bye players.

everything it stands for in a recent text message. No matter how I

the Kavanators. The end is near coach, pack your shit and get ready for
