For any owner who does not know the eSFL 2-A-Days rules, they are simply:
1. Beginning on 22 August at 1100 ET, You may perform two transactions. No more than two transactions every 24 hours OR 1100 ET, whichever occurs first. This verbage was changed in case an owner didn't make a transaction until later than 1100 he could still make them the next day at 1100.
Make sure you claim who you want. Once claimed, they count. Dropping a player counts as a transaction. These players count once claimed even if you release them immediately after claiming. Make sure you claim whom you want!
Effective August 23, 1800 ET, 2011, the current penalties for failure to abide by the rule above will be revised with the addition below, from it's current state (which can be found on official site under RULES) to read:
Any team that illegally acquires players during the 2-A-Day period will have those players removed from their roster and placed on the commissioners roster until approximately 10:58:00 ET the next day.
They will then be in the free agent pool for all owner availability at 11:00:00 ET, regardless when a team last made their allotted transactions.
Additionally, the team who originally made the illegal transactions will no longer be able to acquire those players again for the remainder of the active eSFL season. That means not during 2-A-Days, regular free agency period, trades, or any other method, they cannot be on that teams roster for that year. This means if someone picks up a player or players too early (10:59:59 is to early) they lose the right to that player for the remainder of the season.
When the commissioner removes the players from the rule breaking teams roster, he will post on the smack board, League News area, facebook eStandout page, or front page of the official site the player names and when they will be available again for the 2-A-Day period for all other owners. The commissioner CANNOT acquire these players during 2-A-Days for the active season.
If the illegal action(s) were performed on the last day of 2-A-Days (day 5) the 2-A-Day period will be extended an additional day.
It is not the commissioners responsibility, nor will he notify the owner of the players being dropped from his roster other than the posting mentioned above.
