Week 12 recaps-2009

In a week 12 estandout intra-divisional showdown, Boot Hill Balut squeaked by a tough Zima Ruskies team by a score of 156.1 to 149.80, behind the support of 73,427 faithful fans.

Boot Hill Balut were led to their 9.85 point victory by a 30.80 point effort from Antonio Gates, who beat the Kansas City Chiefs defense for 118 receiving yards and 2 receiving TDs. With this performance, Gates was the number 1 ranked tight end for week 12. They also got help from a 21.60 point effort from Knowshon Moreno, who got by the New York Giants defense for 88 rushing yards and 1 rushing TD in addition to 19 receiving yards. "We really took it to 'em," Boot Hill Balut coach T. Rhodes said.
Zima Ruskies were helped out in a losing cause by a 25.00 point effort from Jared Allen, who beat the Chicago Bears offense for 2 tackles and 2.0 sacked a qb. With this performance, Allen was the number 2 ranked defensive end for week 12. They also got help from a 20.60 point effort from Terrell Owens, who got by the Miami Dolphins defense for 96 receiving yards and 1 receiving TD.
"I'm really sick at my stomach of our guys performance," Zima Ruskies coach Jesse Kizima said.
Causing further embarrassment, Zima Ruskies could have scored 166.57 points and earned the win with their best lineup, but Jesse Kizima left key players like Jason Witten and his corresponding 15.70 points on the bench. Boot Hill Balut took advantage of their schedule this week, as their point total would have gone for a loss against 7 out of 10 other potential opponents in week 12.
This brings the record for Boot Hill Balut to 2-10, and drops Zima Ruskies to a record of 5-7.

With this performance, Johnson was the number 2 ranked running back for week 12. They also got help from a 22.80 point effort from Kenny Britt, who beat the Arizona Cardinals defense for 128 receiving yards and 1 receiving TD.  "We weren't mentally prepared, gotta get a win this week" D Crownholders coach Jordan Kizima said.
Causing further embarrassment, D Crownholders could have scored 183.28 points and earned the win with their best lineup, but Jordan Kizima left key players like Antonio Bryant and his corresponding 18.10 points on the bench.
This brings the record for Frost Furrious Flurries to 6-6, and drops D Crownholders to a record of 6-6.

"My hat's off to them," Pardue Bruisermakers coach Ron Pardue said.
Adding salt to the wound, Pardue Bruisermakers could have scored 209.47 points and earned the win with their best lineup, but Ron Pardue left key players like Lawrence Timmons and his corresponding 22.00 points on the bench.
Pardue Bruisermakers drew the short straw with their schedule this week, as their point total would have resulted in a win against 9 out of 10 other potential opponents in week 12.

They also got help from a 23.10 point effort from Jamaal Charles, who got by the San Diego Chargers defense for 93 rushing yards and 1 rushing TD in addition to 54 receiving yards.
"They wanted it more than we did," Texan Bruisers coach Chaz Templin said.
Causing further embarrassment, Texan Bruisers could have scored 185.09 points and earned the win with their best lineup, but Chaz Templin left key players like Jason Campbell and his corresponding 30.39 points on the bench.
This brings the record for Whitmore Workhorse to 8-4, and drops Texan Bruisers to a record of 7-5.
Coming up in week 13, the 3-9 Kav's Kavanators are at Whitmore Workhorse, where Whitmore Workhorse are an early 1.1-point favorite, while the 5-7 Perdew Pulverizers are at Texan Bruisers, where Texan Bruisers are an early 6.7-point underdog.

With this performance, Favre was the number 3 ranked overall fantasy scorer for week 12. They also got help from a 25.90 point effort from Steven Jackson, who got by the Seattle Seahawks defense for 89 rushing yards and 1 rushing TD in addition to 27 receiving yards.
"He always has his team ready to play," Fields Fanatix coach Bruce Fields said.
Compounding the issue, Fields Fanatix could have scored 172.88 points and earned the win with their best lineup, but Bruce Fields left key players like Asante Samuel and his corresponding 18.00 points on the bench.
This brings the record for Perdew Pulverizers to 5-7, and drops Fields Fanatix to a record of 7-5.

Big D beat a strong Kav's Kavanators team by a score of 167.42 to 147.98, silencing a partisan crowd of 71,828.

With this performance, Rivers was the number 5 ranked overall fantasy scorer for week 12. They also got help from a 20.50 point effort from London Fletcher, who beat the Philadelphia Eagles offense for 11 tackles.
